Why are so many people mad that the druid is a little thicc? I think he/she is adorable.
Thick kings rise up.
Hell yeah! Chonky druid 4 life.
I think they both have strongman/woman builds, but I do think there is something wrong with the femdruid head/face/neck area. Something about it seems off and I couldn’t make it look good no matter the combination I tried.
there are a lot of societies that hate fat people. bigotry is a thing.
Very true. I guess applying it to video game characters just seems even more petty and uselessly mean than normal.
I realized, just before SS finished, that 3 out of 4 of the femdruid faces have rather noticeable double-chins. The face option usually used with the black presets does not. Which, I feel leans more toward “fat” rather than the strongman/strongwoman aesthetic that the males do better. So that might be why the faces look a bit off. Since there’s either a fatter face, or has a more black facial structure.
Also the skin tones all look really yellow for some reason.
The male is fine. Faces and hair suck, but overall, the male is just, fine, and nothing more.
What bugs me the most is the female. Nothing you do at all makes the female look good. There is no structure to her body at all.
The male faces look like they’ve been beaten with a clothing iron.
The female faces look like 400lbs shellfish allergy barbie has lost a fight with a lighter and she wants to talk to the manager about it.
All of the classes have true options. The druids just hit the randomize button and keep a bag over their heads.
As it stands now, I’ll be playing Druid day one…I don’t mind the Body Shapes much though I do wish Blizz put in a “Body Size Scale”…like it is in Elder Scrolls…but if anything, they need way more Hair Styles…
Personally that’s not my issue. it’s when I think of a druid throughout like playing d&d in any role-playing game or maybe it’s even TV and movies an books. I don’t imagine a strong man type physique, I think of usually not quite scrawny but usually thinner with a little bit of bulk because they’re living in nature off resources how are they getting that big. That’s just my head cannon personally so that’s why I it throws me off when it’s a giant strong man bodybuilder physique it just makes me go what!
Druids aren’t thicc, they’re flat out obese. It would be fine if they carried a little extra body fat, which is normal and even healthy in some circumstances. But the issue is that they’re blatantly obese and gross to look at. If people want to have the option to play obese characters then fine, but if you force that aesthetic on everyone who wants to play a Druid then it’s going to ruin the class for the people who want their character to look healthy and fit.
Also if you look at the druid from Diablo 2 he’s got a normal like large Nordic physique not gigantic or big it’s kind of like a slightly smaller barbarian type physique in Diablo 2. So the drastic turned from D2 to D4 here is like the F happened lol
It’s just odd you don’t see these same comments about the necros being too skinny. It’s just with the druid that you see talks about needing a sliding scale for body size. It’s weird to me that this many people get worked up about their video game character being overweight.
Yeah but necros have always been like creepy weird frail thin skeletal like so that makes more sense.
You don’t think it’s just because skinny is more appealing to people than fat? Even though it can be equally unhealthy?
Like it’s a completely different take on the druid which is interesting because you don’t see powerlifter druids but it’s just feels off for some reason
I don’t know what you think is appealing about skeletal people but it’s off-putting in my opinion lol
And hey man I’m not a thin person by any means lol
But Like I said previously I think it’s mainly because when I think of a person that’s bonded with an animal that lives in the forest I don’t think gigantic person so it’s just off to me.
I mean, I don’t think either is appealing or not. Cuz I’ve gotta be honest, I give zero Fs about what my characters body weight/type is. I just like the druids gameplay.
Fair enough my dude Fair enough
