How will that dungeon work?
Will we have matchmaking? lobby? or just people from friend list?
I pretty much don’t play Diablo 4 as there is no social aspect to it and solo pve fights feels like Doom where you need to keep killing to survive ( as in healing orbs ) - it’s exhausting.
I don’t know if new expansion will change anything in that matter but I would love to go back to this game.

I feel like if there was some kind of dungeon finder or matchmaker that it would have been a bullet point. People have requested it since beta. I also feel like it will come eventually, but don’t think so for expansion launch.
Social tab, ask people in the area that populate. Not hard to be social if you want to engage in a social activity.
I do love the irony of people want to play with others but don’t want to take the initiative to find others. They would rather be asocial and let the computer do it.

How many want to do dungeon with me? I need to chat directly to each one of them? how many will have similar level to mine? can his spot be filled mid game if he disconnects for any reason?
Matchmaking solves all those problems and if we like each other we can then add as friends.
Not to mention lack of proximity voice chat.
It works in any other game, D4 doesn’t have it, keep denying to yourself that everything is ok as it is, you seem like die hard D4 fan stuck in matrix.
Why force me to do something I don’t want to? throw every possible obstacle in my way just so you can call me asocial?

You are correct. Since I am playing on my computer I in fact do want the computer to matchmake for me.
After a hard days work where I talk to a ton of people, I DO want the social aspect of the game to be as seamless as possible.
I want to play the actual game, not sit there to find a group.
So yes since I’m playing a VIDEO GAME and not going to WORK after I just got out of work, let the matchmaking do it for me.
I don’t know how this is hard to comprehend.
