So…every earth skill shapeshifts you with Vasily’s…does this mean every time the skill shapeshifts me I get the health/fortify benefit? Thanks for any insight.
yes. you have to switch into our out of form to get the health bonus

You need to actually shapeshift to get the health. With Vasily’s on you won’t shapeshift. You will just be a bear all the time so you will not get the health for shapeshifting. I used the aspect prior to finding Vasily’s and it helped quite a bit.
Yea I’ve found that Vasily’s shape shifts you on ever Earth skill…and after a few seconds you’re back to normal. But it’s EVERY Earth skill. I think you might be thinking the chest armor…Insatiable Fury 
I think you’re confusing Vasily’s with Insatiable Fury chest armor (bear is your natural form).
Whoops. I have both on. I didn’t realize you would shift back with Vasily’s on.
This has to be unintentional. Why would you include an item (Insatiable Fury) that completely negates another (Skinwalker’s Aspect)? Especially when the class has very few healing options. It may also negate others, such as the passive Quickshift. Provocation should be up constantly. but no flag. Iron Fur may be working, there is a flag but it doesn’t say the source of the buff. Mending has no flag either. At any rate, I wish Blizzard would take a look at it.
