The skins in the store look great, but if you think I’m dropping $24.99 for a single skin you are out of your damn mind. Considering this is basically glorified loading screen art, I wouldn’t pay more than $9.99. You can barely even see your character in game, let alone what skin your using

Hard disagree. I can barely see the tattoos, but the armor is extremely visible.

Yep they are highest prices from one of the wealthiest companies, go figure.
Feels bad for the people that got the D4 tattoo deal , be going to tattoo nightmares for a cover up after that one.

Normally I don’t care about MTX prices in most games but I have to agree with you with D4. This is not a FTP game that only makes income off skins that only a portion of the player base buys. We paid $70-100 for the game, and with the number of sales Blizzard paid for the game’s costs, and should be rolling in their profits already.
Charging $25 for a skin in a $70+ buy to play ARPG is just too much for me to humor. I don’t mind buying this type of stuff in any of the FTP games I’ve played in the past. I don’t mind in buy to play games if the pricing is more fair, unlike those FTP games as I just see it as extra content. I have a problem when the game is sold above the standard AAA price (I get Blizz and a couple of the other big publishers are trying to change it so they earn even more profit.) and then you charge 1/3 of the game cost for a lowly skin in a ARPG where you don’t really notice them that well in the first place.
It’s not a big deal or anything, just slightly annoying, and why I won’t be giving Blizzard more money outside of expansions with D4 if I continue playing the game. If they changed the price I’d buy some of the skins while I’m playing during seasons but I just can’t support the practice of overpriced digital MTX in a game with a large box price.

Best cosmetic for male sorc so far has been the free shirt from the battle pass…
Every shop reset I pray for something actually male, but instead we got a succubus outfit and a kinky bondage outfit this season… not one cosmetic set for male in the shop since launch…
If they want my money they know how

While I agree that it’s a tad over priced, and that you can’t really see it very well anyways since you can’t zoom in on your char. I think skins for all games are over priced. I think around 20 bucks is the norm. My chars in ffxiv had to pay 20 bucks, per char, it wasn’t even account wide. So while I think it’s slightly more than usual, I think the price for some pixels on all games is too much. I just bought the wrathlord set on my seasonal necro. I bought a bunch of mount armors too. I can’t help myself from spending money. I didn’t buy any of the sorc skins on my eternal char though. Cause the doom and warlords set from in game is better than all of the skins in the in game shop for sorcs lol.
They copied the F2P model of other games but forgot that they don’t ALSO charge box price and season price on top of that.
They also forgot to finish the game. I’m pretty sure this whole thing is just a front for these overpriced pixels.

I was literally just about to post this because this is my sentiment exactly. I want to buy a couple skins and horse armors but holy crap. I don’t understand why a single skin is 1/5th the price of the whole damn game. It’s absolutely absurd. I would probably buy some coins if it meant it would last me for a few skin purchases, but at the current prices I dont want to buy anything at all.
