We know paragon 300 is not required for effective builds and anything beyond 250 is about as useful as a business selling a $700 product for a penny profit with 10 sales a year.
So what about moving aspect feature to skills and increasing skill points continually?
Sorc for instance, you have a skill in ice shards, next enhanced; now rather than just two choices give multiple choices such as ice spikes, increased area, longer duration, etc. Damage increase can only be obtained by adding more points to the base skill. How long a skill is used based on frequency of use you are given more options as you “master” your chosen skill. As you move forward in mastery damage scales upwards.
Limit max points in a given aspect and primary skill.
This works for any class similar to Barbs weapon mastery, no I’m not saying the current state is good and why I suggest to skill use.
It works for blasters who spend hours playing the game as they get there quickly; it works for casuals as over time they can see progression of their builds.
