Skeletons upon entering town moved around like they were animating 1 fps. Rest of the game was fine. 1 skeleton fixed itself, other 4 stayed choppy till i d/c’d a bit later. Finally made it back through the que… to hit another que, to hit another que to hit another que… this is fun.
Yeah, I’m not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this or if we should start a thread in one of the general forums, but the skeletal warrior animations in town are shockingly bad for an AAA game. They don’t even really walk – they kind of teleport around every quarter of a second, at it looks like a slide show. They look fine out in the world, though.
I’d almost rather they just auto despawn when you enter a town and then auto respawn when you leave town.
Edit: they’re now teleporting around outside of town too.
Happens in town sometimes after cutscenes. What worked for me was clicking Shift C and changing the skeletons in any way so they despawn. Then you can just resummon them again and they are fine. Annoying but this was a fast workaround.
I know you are talking about necro skeletons, but this also happens to skeleton mobs out in the open world sometimes. Most commonly the weaker one-handed melee skeletons. Something seems to be affecting this entire group’s (skeletons) animations.
