Make extracted aspects worth way more gold. 100k gold for extracts normal aspect, 150 for sacred, 200k for ancestrals.
Then we have enough gold to extract the aspects we want to keep, we would be motivated to extract and sell aspects we don’t really need or aren’t perfect.
Then we have the gold to reroll items to apply the aspects we save up.
Then we would also have the gold to re-spec a character to try different builds on top of having the aspects applied to items.
We would have: more inventory space, better itemization, more build options and ability to change builds, it would even help barbs and sorc’s get back on their feet with rerolling.

I am swimming in gold. Doesn’t fix my problems.

I’m not, and a lot of players are gold gated, even Raxx said he had a full inventory and 100 million gold and he hasn’t extracted the aspects he wanted because he needs the gold for reroll enchants.
And he doesn’t even pick up everything.
I’m just saying, enable players to extract aspects and reroll since a more robust aspect codex system and an armory system aren’t in place yet.
Wait. He doesn’t extract because he has no money for it but instead removing the cost, your solution would be to keep the cost but give more money in return?

More gold because the gold has multiple uses:
Re enchant
Re Spec
Buy items (minor)
And it would motivate people to extract their legendaries ths they’re holding onto, and also apply it because it’ll be easier to get ‘good rares’ because rerolling enchants would be more accessible.
Making it worthwhile to extract, sell, and apply the legendaries would open up a lot of inventories, it would help reduce the number of legendaries and rares people are holding onto now since it’ll be easier to make what they need as they need it and also to use the aspect inventory. It would also make it mule characters more useful since it’ll be cheaper to fill their aspect inventories as well.
And players can also respect their characters more easily, as both the paragons, skills, and items for an alternative build would be more accessible with higher gold reward from selling aspects.
Also I wouldn’t feel the need to drag every rare into town for selling for gold. Materials are still needed but if I don’t feel like picking up a rare it’s not something I’ll regret later.
Part of the problem of the game is that there’s a lot of gold sinks but hardly any gold jackpots. Selling uniques would be the closest we got.
Then just increase sellprice of legendary. Why would i first need to extract something to just sell it right away. Doesn’t make sense.

Well this is officially the dumbest thing I have read here all day! Grats!
Ok, then we agree raising the gold value of either or would help reduce the inventory stasis? I get your point but whether the aspect or the legendary is the valuable part, or make them both valuable, doesn’t change the fact that a lot of inventories are just sitting there, not benefitting the players.
@park : dumbest idea today you’ve read today? You need to get out more man.
I’m still wrapping my head around he has no money to extract with 100 million gold
but you can do that and so can Raxx if he wanted to but he is just refusing to extract
He’s feels the most important gold sink is to reroll enchants than to extract.
This is one of the problems I’m observing, people have inventories full of legendaries, either minor upgrades, or major upgrades waiting for the perfect rare, or alternative builds.
It’s just too gold expensive to pursue then all and also extract all the aspects once you factor in enchanting.
I think keeping enchanting as a gold sink, balanced by making legendaries a gold jackpots, would make it more accessible for players to do everything I listed.
Minor upgrades, major upgrades, alternative builds and also fill up the aspect inventory on all their characters and mules.
Not having to drag an inventory full of rares back to town would also help keep the pace of the game up.
I can’t afford to extract and reroll, so I’m gold gated and I think a lot of players are in the same situation, they just have inventories that aren’t ever going to be used for their intended purposes.
Does he need the enchant or not?
He needs the enchants to make perfect rares for him to apply the perfectly rolled aspects on.
I’m waiting too but not perfect, I don’t play as hardcore as other players but I still have an inventory full of stuff I wish I could use, either as alternative builds or just on my character.
unless he’s level 100 and picking up max level stuff I would say no, because you are going to pick up a higher level upgrade
He has a level 100 of each class so he’s making BIS for each one
The chances of picking up a perfectly rolled item is so close to zero it’s pointless
I bet he’s still looking for the perfect items in D3
That’s what the enchants are for, makes the possibiloty of getting good items more possible.
Right now, people are holding onto their aspects waiting for rares they can’t afford to enchant, so the inventory is full and in stasis.
By making enchanting more accessible, mlextraction more accessible, you will open up more inventories and make more build options and item upgrades accessible.
enchants only work on one of the affixes not all so the rest of the affixes have to be the right ones and maxed out and you think they just hand them out
The fix for Stash problems is very easy to be solved. Legendary Aspect’s after extraction to go directly in the Codex book to keep it there. But to not update the free base one that you unlock from Dung. Example:
You extract Aspect of Dissobidiance at max roll, he goes to codex as max but only 1 use. If you extract 2nd max roll of Dissobidiance aspect you now have 2 max roll’s. And so on.
If they make that thing to use Codex for Aspect stash 90% of stash problems will be solved and we will not need more stash pages.
No to any of that.
If I can have 50 stash tabs, 50 premium stash tabs, every currency stash tab, and still load into towns with more than 50 players in them and have 0 lag in PoE. Then this dev team of morons can stop trying to make excuses on their poor decisions as to why we cant have more stash space. Or every other excuse they can pull out their malignant tunnels.
All the BS they spewed about not getting us a gem tab till season 2 is also more laziness and refusing to make changes to the game. They literally already have season 2 done and the gem tab done but we have to wait 3 more months to get it? Na bro we are waiting so they can try to sucker another battle pass out of people. Its all about money grab and predatory gimmicks to get kids to beg mom & dad to buy them season battle pass and their favorite cosmetic for a character they will play to level 60 and then stop playing till the next season the repeat the process.
You wanna know what can fix the game? Rename it to “Gotcha Suckers”, and sell the Diablo IP to a game developer that will actually build off of the previous titles instead of reinventing the game for the 4th iteration. Hell even the P2W game Diablo Immortal is more ARPG than this dog
they call Diablo 4.
Here is a list of QoL stuff that we are missing so they can sell it to you on a season later down the road.
- Gem stash tab or put into the Materials tab (we know this is coming season 2 o joy)
- Overlay map we at blizzard will harp on it for 10 season that it kills immersion but will eventually give in when we find out TurboHud4 is already out and everyone is using it just like in Diablo 3.
- Uber Boss’s (sure there is Uber Lilith and now the 80 Season 1 Uber boss) such as Diablo you know the boss that the game is named after.
- Cow level added and unlocked in season 15
- Aspect tab (similar to the gem tab in PoE) where I can put 100s of aspects in it for each class. With a search feature & sort feature like in PoE that will allow me to find low lvl or high lvl aspects that I need for the class I am playing.
- A legendary item tab again similar to PoE
- Teleport into the NMD instead of at the door that forces you to wait through multiple loading screens before starting the dungeon. Like what dev even thought this would be ok?
- A PTR to test the game and fix game breaking bugs that they continue to release because their dev team of 2 people testing the patches clearly ain’t working.
- Runewords coming season 25
- Set items coming season 20
- A way to clear paragon boards without clicking every single node to undo them.
- In game timers on when a event is happening like Legions, World boss’s, & Helltides so people don’t have to search the entire map to see if one is going on and if they happen to be in a NMD when world boss spawns they would never know.
List goes on and on with how they can actually fix the game. Problem is they don’t want to fix the game. They want to continue to use predatory gimmicks to get more money out of the game when there are other free to play games like PoE that have 100x better content each season, have a PTR where they extensively have the new patch tested, a better social system, and on and on.
It’s called stop hoarding trash
