I have not been given access to the quest to unlock sigil crafting. I am in tier 3 and have done multiple Sigils, but have only had up to Tier 2 sigils drop to complete. I am level 61 and have completed the 70 capstone so would like to get that working.
Does anyone have any suggestions about this, am I missing something or is this a unfortunate bug?

I have exactly the same issue. I am unable to creaft or salvage sigils. L55 and Nightmare Tier achieved at L48.
Same here. So far I can only get sigils from the whispering tree. No quest to craft will appear after completing a couple nightmare dungeons.
You need to complete a Tier 3 NM dungeon to unlock, not just be in world tier 3.
Well, that is excellent news and great to know. Thank you. I will keep grinding away for a t3 sigil. I wonder if some kind of tooltip on the greyed out sigil crafting/salvage tabs might help if it said as much. Again, thank you.
Really? How am I supposed to get a T3 NM dungeon sigil to drop outside of a NM dungeon? The whole mechanic of, you have to do one to get the ability to do one seems pretty backwards. It also doesn’t help that their servers are so crappy that it is difficult to even finish a dungeon without disconnecting, which loses the dungeon. I am really at the point of having to quit the game. I am not going to grind from 60 to 100 outside of dungeons and never leveling my runes.
I actually am done. 30 seconds into a dungeon d/c. I am not going to spend another 30 minutes grinding a tree of whisper reward for nothing. If they address this in a patch, I may come back, but they lost this player just now.
none of it works, i have at least 20 nightmare dungeons in nightmare, still no crafting of sigils, all was good till you released this untested season one
That’s unfortunate. Sorry to hear you’re getting disconnected so much. Do you get frequent disconnects for any other games?
Regarding getting the sigil quest…
Ran numerous tier 2 and 1 nm dungeons, did the tree of whispers multiple times. Only ever getting sigils of tier 2 or 1, so frustrating. Decided to switch to world tier 4, ran a dungeon. Tier 21 sigil dropped, ran that, managed to complete it and the quest unlocked.
Same here… I can not salvage and craft sigils.
There was a priority quest that will enable the character to salvage and craft sigils that appeared when I reached level 55.
But when I finished that capstone in world tier 3 that will open world tier 4, the priority quest was gone

I have done several T3 nightmare dungeons, I never got a quest to unlock sigil crafting and it is still greyed out.
bump I have the same issue, only dropping tier 1 sigils so I can’t move on, level 56.
Edit:
For bug tracking purposes, I believe after I completed my first nightmare dungeon, I had no glyphs (it did not offer experience, and as I remember it that is the case with the first one). It completed the nightmare dungeon quest and it looked like another one popped up briefly then disappeared. Every other NM dungeon has offered me experience.
Edit 2:
I did about 12 level 1 dungeons, and started doing the optional quests and finally had a tier 4 sigil drop at level 57 - 58. I did that NM dungeon and the sigil crafting is back. I am assuming this is what did the trick, though I did go back and forth to Tier 2 once too.

Dont work here, i am at Tier 4 and complete same DG NM in Tier 3.
Same problem here. I just drop level 1 sigil, cannot craft them and i’m level 61. Please fix it!
Should I assume NM means Nightmare??
I am also having this problem. I have done multiple Nightmare dungeons on WT3 and have not been giving the quest. I was able to unlock preseason.
(UPDATE) I was finally able to get the quest after doing a T21 NM dungeon on WT4.
Once again, Activision garbage screws over the player base. No quest here either. Hopefully with Microsoft taking control, they will fire all of the garbage working there and get proper talent. Hope springs eternal.
