Side Quest bug: Fury Against Fate

The Side Quest: Fury Against Fate has a Bug. The NPCs in the Dungeon stand after the conversation without the Warcry and the Quest can not Finish. I Have Test this with my Sorc and a neu Necro Charakter. So I can not complete the Quest-Challenge Board to 100 %. Please Help and Fix this.

This is happening to me to. I’ve tried relogging like 10 times just outside the dungeon (never got it to work). Tried kiting the enemies to the barbarian group (didn’t work). I was hoping they would patch/fix this by now…

QUEST BUG: Blood and Sweat & Fury Against Fate

Just ‘fixed’ this for myself (and it’s unlikely to be luck). There was this advice from a diff thread about minimizing game. So: Don’t abandon, don’t clear event (very likely irrelevant), go to the cave, change game to windowed (not fullscreen window), lock cutscene fps, set max fps to 59, set min fps to ONE, uncheck the “lock cursor to game window” so you can minimize, accept…click to enter cave (1st time in that game after char select), right after you click the entrance minimize the game an…

Did you find a fix?? I get thru the dialogue, and the barricade remains immune to damage. I believe the reason is because she’s supposed to charge through and destroy it for us, IIRC. I did it on barb at one time.

Finally found the thread and person where I read about this. It works btw. EDIT 26th July: Did it in seasonal. When you are in front of the cave you change background FPS to 1. Click cave then instantly alt+tab for 20 seconds. other than that nothing else matters (very likely). [BUG] Fury against fate

Easiest way to get this quest to work is to go straight down as far as you can to the bottom of the zone as soon as you walk in. Then when you climb down go as far down and to the right as you can before talking to the NPC. For some reason being too close to the barrier spawns a health bar too early on it and the NPCs will no longer attack it. You have to stay as far away from the blockade as possible the moment you walk out of the portal until the NPCs engage it themselves. No amount of reset…

I’m on console, so most of these I couldn’t do. I did, however, try the one suggestion about going as far south in the cave as possible. That didn’t work either.

Apparently, the only way to get it to work is to lag your loading speed through limiting FPS or Wi-Fi lag.

The lag switch is totally true, unfortunately… I tried countless times without it, and got it on first try with a lag switch set at 250ms which kept me under 300.
Be cautious when choosing one to use. I chose one that left a windivert.sys file with a funky file name/type. I had to boot into safe mode in order to remove it fully.

I understand renown and all that, but will 1 quest really make that much of a difference for you at season start?

Thank you to everyone who helped get me through this quest. Your suggestions finally helped me get it done.

I pumped the FPS all the way down to 15 and connected to a VPN on the other side of the planet to drastically increase ping response times.

So very sad that this had to be done to complete a side quest.
