Shroud of False Death doesn't snapshot DoK with stealth. Because Spiritborn gotta be the best class, right?

My point here it’s not actually spit on Spiritborns, but fight for my fellow Rogue enjoyers.

We have a mythic chest that’s so Rogue themed - The Shroud of False Death - but it completely fails. F.e in snapshoting DoK with the “After entering stealth, your next attack deals … dmg”

I mean, do we have to be as close as perfect to do tier 90 pits (struggling)? While the “favorite child” completely destroys 150’s without a sweat?

It’s such a shame that this does not work as it should to DoK or other builds, especially cause its extremely bugged with the use of concealment as well, not applying correctly the vun dmg from subverting concealment…

Let me know what you guys think about this

With input from Wave (they suggest a basic attack but I’m too lazy to move my skills around) I modified my windup to get around this. This is assuming you have False Death, Asheara, and PaxQax.

Start DoK> Dark Shroud> imbue> potion> Stop DoK if/when 5 hits are in> potion> concealment> Spin2win

I also pop my next imbue after I start the spin2win, so if I see anything other than 2 charges I know I lost my snapshot at some point. Hope this gets fixed but this workaround added 5 tiers to my pit farm.

Yeah it’s pretty bad lol. Never seen a worse balanced arpg. Only one meta class and build per season is boring.

That really made a difference for me. I hadn’t used the potion + damage runewords before because the setup was just too complicated, but following your sequence has made everything so much smoother. Now, I’m really getting the full benefit of that 100% damage boost from the runewords! I don’t use the Unique dagger, though. The 40% attack speed boost translates to 40% more damage, which aligns with one of the grenade aspects that gives a similar 40% damage boost. The weapon mastery rank would be useful, but I don’t have one with a GA, so I’m using a regular dex-life sword instead.
