Playing on Xbox One. When trying to invite friends it shows the options as greyed out and if you scroll on to them it says player is blocked. How can they be blocked if they’re on my friends list?

Just adding on that I’m having the same issue as well. My parents and I were trying to party voice chat and I could hear Mom, but Dad was showing as muted so I tried to join/invite to party and it says he’s blocked despite being on my friends list. I can’t hear him in clan chat either. So frustrating!

Anything on this yet, I paid for this game twice so I could play with my wife, this is kind of a dumb bug.

Found a fix, have your friend turn on open party on xbox and then you can join then anytime
Same issue. I paid for the game twice bc the controller is buggy on PC, so I bought it for Xbox. Now I can’t play with friends. This is some BS.

is this actually working for you? i created a party on the xbox and it still says (PC) player is blocked in game

This is incredibly frustrating. I finally got Xbox party chat working and now can’t crossplay with my son. We love to crossplay (me on the PC, him on his Xbox Series X), but all games come with a not smooth experience. And now this - same issue, I can invite him, he doesn’t see the invite, and then when he tries to invite me it says ‘Player is blocked’'. FGS can someone from Blizzard address this please?

Same problem but for a few of us who have game pass ultimate (which includes live gold). The game says I need live gold to play in a party.

Playing on Xbox and i can’t even see my Friends at all, it says 0 
What are your Xbox crossplay settings? should be found in game options → then social tab
Also check your Xbox account settings? Pressing the xbox button on your controller → account → privacy & online safety → Xbox privacy → view details & customize → communication & multiplayer → “Other can communcate with voice, text, or invites”

This did not fix it for me, my settings have always been open. It still shows 0 friends under the xbox tab. And i main this console
Same here. I am a PC diablo 4 player trying to invite my friend who plays on xbox series x. I can send the invite and request to join clan but it doesnt show up on my friends screen. On my friends screen, it shows that im blocked. we both have cross play enabled. please help.
