Were poeple all surpirsed and pissed when poe started first league? I dont understand whats in their mind, god blizzard just give them the battlepass items for this season and make them shut up

I stopped playing over a week ago just so I MIGHT feel like trying again when the season starts.
The game needs some serious help right now in order to be fun for me.

I’ve been on and off with PoE for 8-9 years so starting over is not a huge deal. Problem is, I’m not sure they’re going to do enough to improve the game in S1 so I can’t say I’ll actually make a character before seeing patch notes.
Amazing how many people crying about seasons and character reset.
You don’t have to re-roll.
And seasons are not a new concept for arpg’s.
Entitled kids screaming over and over and over until they get their way because that’s all they know.

this, ive played necro so far , will roll a druid for season 1 , then choose anther char for season2 , and so on keeps each season fresh as a new char on each …

If you don’t want the rewards from the season you don’t have to start over.

I am honestly good on never playing again. Unless some massive change happens, I have done all there is to do in this game for the time being and foreseeable future. Unless they add something that changes how this game is played, I am good.

Why would anyone restart for a new save 5 npcs in a cellar event while random wizards teleport around the room?
People expecting them to add a ton of new content, and it’s going to kill the game.
Majority of players interested in ARPGs actually do seasons and do not care one bit about the normal server.
Eternal will become a ghost town.
