Lol Rob has a video detailing the new torment difficulty in relative to current live game. Now this is only a prediction but, i have a good feeling this might turn out true.
Torment 4 in VoH is equivalent to pit 130 on live now. And on top -100% resistance and -1000 armour penalties.
Current WT4 is -75% resistance and no armour penalties.
And how many of you clearing pit 130 now on live game ? Lol
My prediction is torment 3 will be the new meta sweet spot for majority of players in terms of enjoyment level and rewards.
Unless you enjoy souls like type of “You are dead” every 10 seconds or so by white monster melee you, you prob like torment 4 , or torture 4

Sure any difficulty level will be one shot level if you go there when you’re not ready for it.
But yea very few players will actually be playing in TIV. And even those capable of being there will probably switch to 2 or 3 for things like helltides just so it’s not a slog to farm boss mats.

Torture 4 sounds more pleasant than Torment 4.

You mean -50% and no armor penalties, says so in the tooltip when you hover over your resistances. It’s the equivalent of the new Torment 2. It’s always a 25% increase from the previous, even in live right now.
Which is great for people who want that challenge. How many on here have asked for more difficulty within the game? Well now they have it.

You haven’t accounted new power creeps, with legendary glyphs, runewords and mercenaries. We’ll see, I don’t mind having a difficulty option for top 5% players

Good. I wish there will be better incentive for reviving other players in T4 than just the distance you need to walk.
season 6 is meant for that Spiritborn dude to shine.
look at his Quarterstaff → 90% Block Chance. 
Only spiritborn might be in torment 4 , and the top meta spiritborn builds … Ye the new class is gonna be OP. Which is fine I mean, every season there is OP class so, naturally for expansion and new class will be the OP one
