It shouldn’t result in a permanent disparity in class power however, which it has so far because as OP correctly noted, the enchantments don’t give us even close to the power a Barb gets from those extra weapon slots. That’s the point.

Enchantment slots are the class mechanic, like Technique is for Barbarians. It is not meant to equal extra weapon slots.

You do not point to Technique as why Barbarians outperform Sorcerers, and Enchantment is the Sorcerer analog. You might as well argue that men are on average stronger than women because men tend to have more facial hair–you are barking up the wrong tree to explain the difference. \

Men have more strength due to (among other things) more muscle. Barbarians have more stats and aspects working due to having more item slots. Enchantment was not intended to be an equalizer for item slots. It was meant to be the unique mechanic for Sorcerers like Technique is for Barbarians or Spirit Boons are for Druid, and like Necro and Rogues have their own special mechanics.

Hell yeah. I leveled 2 up this season and have 4 different builds. Blizzard is a powerful build and easy to equip. We’re getting buffed in S5 Arc lash, ball lightning,blizzard, frozen orb this season

lol of course it is. The classes were balanced around number of weapons and its mechanic. The enchantments need to be as strong as extra weapon slots or at least aspects since they’re trying to adjust scaling for stats.

Clearly they were not balanced around that or we would not have had Barbarian gods for the last forever.

But that’s kinda the point on why Sorc is in a bad state. Originally they had 3 enchantments to try to make aspects more in line between the classes, enchantments need a serious overhaul to be on the level of an aspect.
