i played a lot since the season started. i m lvl 51 MM Rogue. Tonight, i have been very disappointed, tried to do a dungeon for the tree of whispers … ending of wiping, wiping, wiping, and wiping again on last boss: Mother’s Judgment. This is stupid, i have 44% resist lightning, + a resist lightning potion and i almost get 1 shot from every ability she does. i have 1245 health and she does 1000dmg per attack. i dont even have time to bring her to 75% that i m out of potion and what ever i do, running around or standing and try to do some dmg … i die out of potion. this fight is stupidely over powered. you get almost 1 shotted from every abilities.
so i gave up. lost 1-2hrs on this with no rewards.
then later, i ve gone to the capstone dungeon to get access at the higher tier world … again i ended up wiping , wiping, wiping, wiping again and again with the Curator. Again the damage is insane, i barely get him at 60% with no potions left.
I have a lvl90 MM rogue on Eternal world and i never never never got that problem.
But this patch / season is totally absurd, absurdly overpowered.
Not sure if your goal with this game is making people wiping all the time for the next 10-20 years … i am sorry , i m out !!!
I play game to have fun and not for frustrating myself more than real life does !
And if i m out, i sincerly regret to have trashed my money into this game ! (a lot of money, you became extremely GREEDY)
So i am wondering should I uninstall this game right now, or wait a month to see if they will change their mind and fix all that %$$%??$ ? Because it is now really NOT FUN.
Your game presently is trash. Your game was more fun before last patch. You screwed everything recently.
Resistances are not working as intended and they did not have enough time to fix it for s1 content as it was already almost done when they realized this.
Why they did not realize this during their testing is the bigger question.
The patch changed a few damage items, revisit your build. And look over your gear to see what was impacted. I know post patch a lot of the numbers from gear changed.
I have only tried 2 classes post patch so I can’t tell you specifically anything about rogue.
my 93 Sorc is mostly the same, however I cannot push the same level of NM dungeons above as I was before patch. This was the intent in the power shift. Try whatever level you were doing before -5 and then readjust from there. As an example I did a T49 NM dungeon this morning at lvl 92, and I died twice in it but was able to complete it. That is 11 levels above…which used to be a joke before the patch.
Blood Minion Necro is the other class…and I do not understand how people die on this class. Yes I have died to magic one shot nonsense…but consistently, no…This class is OP when it comes to sustain.
From what I heard (hearsay) rogue was also still OP also.
Because i had fun with the game before Season 1 !!
now it is totally the opposite. I can understand maybe some people are super talented and desired to be a bit harder…
but being almost 1 shot by everything (80% health lost per ability) not sure it makes the game fun ! The Tomb Lord was perfectly fine… but those 2, Mother’s judgment and Curator are stupidly insane.
In the eternal world, before patch, i think i did the capstone at lvl 48. was challenging but not absurd. i m lvl 51 and some end boss are stupid.
I’m playing the worst class in the game and having zero issues. Sounds like a player problem to me. Do you read up on patch notes at all? Everyone’s defense got wrecked.
They technically do work as originally intended. But by the devs own admission they were just implemented extremely poorly. They said they’d fix them by season 3 .
He’s not trolling you at the moment resists don’t work properly. They are trying to fix it but apparently its going to take some time for whatever reason.
Trying to make your character defensively strong enough to tank damage currently does not work past a certain point in the game.
That’s not a lot though might be a gear issue. Play in a lower difficulty you can handle and gear up a bit more maybe.
