Should I bother with Torment 4?

So I wanted to come back and post some extra info about this topic.

Prior to the last major patch, my dodgy off-meta Rogue was only a T3 hero, and didn’t have the DPS for Torment 4. Even if the rewards were theoretically better, I couldn’t kill anything fast enough.

2.0.5 actually gave me a very significant DPS boost, enough that I can kill at a comfortable pace in T4 now. So I went to see if the loot was any better in T4.

My reward for killing the boss in a T4 NM dungeon… with a seething opal of equipment active.… was… a single 750 legendary item.

I went back to T3.

I took the advice here and farmed tormented bosses on T2. A mythic dropped, so that’s advice that works. But just the one, but I’m still trying.

Who knows whether the Mythic Journey starts with just thinking that one wants them or when one visits a tormented boss in the attempt to take some… either way, upon finding your first mythic, your journey has indeed started. Always takes 1 to get going :grinning:

Uber Lilith sucks, the arena is to dark and can never tell what is hitting me, so I die from the dang debuff. I wish they would either make shards have a chance to drop from salvaging uniques or get rid of the stupid debuff in the game so that maybe I could actually get through all the mandatory crap with her and get rid of her last single hit point. Nothing like one shotting a boss and have to stand there and deal with a bunch of crap that should be negated by her being DEAD.

I also want to point out the Tribute of Ascendance.
Its for Undercity and gives an increased chance of getting a mythic.
One dropped for me on T3.

But be carefull with the timer. It has a very low start time of just 45 seconds.

the debuff is actually a big nerf. she was able to one hit KO you before right from the start ^^
If you need to get her killed - we can get that done. just let me know. <3
