Short-sighted Balancing

The reason the balancing in this game is problematic is simple.

It is because the balancing is based on special mechanics that only work for certain characters.

For instance, regarding Selig, I tried applying this method to various other characters throughout this season, but I failed. This is because without the “limitless rage” option (or 4 weapons that provide more enhancements), it was impossible to compensate for the absence of a amulet, or in some cases, the absence of both a amulet and a charm.

Nevertheless, starting next season, wearing Selig will result in taking more damage, which means other characters will never be able to wear Selig. Is this proper balancing?
