Hi,
I want to buy a XBOX console soon and also buy Diablo IV on Xbox.
I want to play with my girlfriend, my question is :
If in the future i want to buy it on PC as well, is there any chance to keep the progress for both accounts (mine and my gf’s) separate? Like i will go on PC with my progress that i had on XBOX and my gf keeps playing on XBOX with her progress that she has there
Thanks a lot .
Yes.
D4 hast full cross-play and cross-progression.
Just use your actual battle.net account in Xbox.
No there is not, if you link your blizzard account to your your pc, they will be the same account. You can’t log onto your xbox and pc at the same time. The only way to do that is make 2 separate blizzard accounts, and xbox accounts. You would have to buy the game 3 times to do what you are talking about. 2 times on the xbox, with separate xbox accounts, and then a third time on the pc, making sure you link the right account to the pc account.
Which means you have to have xbox live on each of those separate xbox accounts, I remember when i ran 3 Black deserts on xbox there was a way to share a xbox live account with another account and xbox, I don’t remember how I did it though to long ago. I just remember I had 3 xboxes, 3 x box accounts, and was able to share 2 of the lives, and have a 3rd one.
You literally did not read what he wrote. The only way to do what he wants to do is buy 3 diablo 4 games. You can’t play diablo 4 on the Xbox, and the pc at the same time with one account like that. You would have to buy 2 separate diablo games, and put them on 2 separate Xbox accounts, and buy a 3rd diablo game on pc, and link it to the Xbox account.
If you plan to only play it with your girlfriend on the Xbox, buy the copy on her battlenet and then you can buy the PC version on your battlenet. This will allow you to play couch co-op with your GF and also play alone on the PC and Xbox together. However, if you buy it for yourself, then when you buy the PC version you will also have to buy her an Xbox version because the one that you have will be attached to your account. She will also only be able to play couch co-op with you if she doesn’t have a game attached to her account.
That is so interesting to me that they screw us over like that.
I paid for 2 copies of diablo 4 when it came out at 90 bucks (cad) a crack. One for xbox, one for pc. I linked the accounts thinking that i would be able to play the unique 12 character slots on my xbox account, combined with the 12 unique character slots on my PC, for a total of 24 character slots. But that was not the case (unless there is a way to login to the purely xbox account i paid for and access those 12 fresh character slots). When i logged into xbox, i discovered that i only had the 12 character slots, that linking the 2 copies folded the 24 character slots you would normally have into only one account, 12 slots.
Kind of pissed about it.
