Apparently this is all the ultra rare uniques. They were all dropping like crazy yesterday. So way larger issue than first expected.

What was the bug? I have been out and about and missed quite a bit it seems…
That would be acceptable, alternatively increase the drop rate to something reasonable so the rest of us can get it.
Baring those 2, please consider offering refunds for the game if you will do nothing else to ensure fair play.

Blizzard accidentally fixed the Shako droprates and people started having fun playing the game, so they deactivated Shako from droping at all

Basically they didnt playtest the drop rates in helltides. so a couple hundred people got shako after the patch if they were level 85+ on barb or sorc and opening helm chests. (Barb and Sorc have no other unique helm possible other than shako or andariels visage, so unique helm drop from chest automatically ment shako or andariels).

Ahh lol that’s going to cause some issues, I imagine they will do a rollback. Or they should solve drama, depends how long it takes until they decide a rollback, I guess.
it shouldn’t be hard. all they have to do is delete the item from the game then add a new one to the stash of the 2 people who had it prior lol. this will be the ultimate litmus test of blizzard’s competency

Agreed. I am hopeful for a competent and reasonable response from the company here.

Fixed that for you.
Or is that going to take another 2 weeks or months to do, like every possible positive change they could make? But anything good is lightning fast hotfixed at max programing attack speed? Working overnight at 8pm? Seems you and the dev team just want people to not get any benefits from anything.

You can’t justify getting an item that is supposed to be super rare because Blizzard made an error. It’s obviously a mistake.
They need to be removed or it’s unfair for other classes and cheapens the item.
Saying “but barb doesn’t have good uniques so it deserves the best unique in the game” is not a valid argument.

Nah, Blizzard should reward whoever found the exploit and offer him/her/they a job as a QA lead.

How about you admit it shouldn’t be a lottery to get it. And now that more people have it becuase they logged in early, they should’ve let it be. But nope, they too petty for that.
Literally, if blizzard said “we are aware this is dropping, we will allow it for all classes in a hotfix becuase we want players to enjoy the game more” they would get good publicity

Sigh…not monetarily. It cheapens the thrill of finding it if it’s raining down from every helltide chest.
Blizzard is probably going to remove them from those who got one by mistake.
It’s the only logical course of action.
