Shadow Corruption Necromancer PIT 98 and going up

Hello guys,

I am creating this build based (and here goes the credit) on MacroBioBoy´s Boss Powers + Accursed Touch Aspect combination that makes shadow damage over time really powerful. Better, it don´t need any unique or Mythic items to do a lot of damage.

The build is not finished yet and I have no idea how far it can go but its far more fun to play than Blood Wave,

You may replace the the helm by Perdition for even more damage but you will loose the Sever mobility.

Currently I don´t have the perfect gear and master working and all my glyphs are @ 80.

Careful as this “Varshan Necro” build will get fixed, because it lags the servers. So it might not be as powerfull all of a sudden.

Fix a lag don´t means loose power.
Lets see the next steps…

The interaction and the calculation in the background, lags out the whole server. Just like the evade Spiritborn, and back in S2 the Blood Lance necro, they had to nerf both builds to maintin server stableity. It would not drop too much in power, but you would feel it.

Lets see what blizzard will do.

Quetion: Do Damage while Fortified scales the corruption damage or only Shadow Damage ?

Yes. Shadow, general damage bonuses and DoT scales corrupting damage.

Anyone loose lot of damage after patch? literrally billions to millions…

Here the change.

  • Flesh Reaper’s Disruption: Reduced the frequency at which the Main Power will activate in extreme situations.

Lets see how it will works now. I suppose no changes in normal situations…

Sadly this change to Flesh Reaper’s Disruption lowered down the damage a lot mainly in single target.

Yeah I took a 10 level hit on my pit speed farming clears. Doing 65 in far more time than 75’s last night.

Even after the nerf it’s still destroying regular Blight for damage though. Anyone who says that Blight is A tier for speed farming is high, Wave destroys it can run 10 Pit levels higher in the same or less time. If you’re top end and not on a character that’s as weak as mine that’s going to look like 20+ levels.

Maybe instead of relying on idiot borrowed power this gaggle of window lickers calling themselves devs could put power back into the actual class abilities for scaling or re introduce the old shadow blight aspect. Buff our core skills or change the mechanics for Blight/Sever. Something. Because this getting stuck with Wave and maybe Bone(blood) spear, even though the latter was stealth nerfed from ptr to live, which again is a great example of this company being idiotic.

Told you. It’s not a big hit, but it is noticable. Still the best option for the Blight build though.

This is because the way they did it. It was not a fix but a huge nerf.

It seems the Flesh Reaper´s is now broken. Its not activating some boss powers Like Lilith´s (no blister at all on bosses and elites) and Wandering Death (non-bosses are not being executed below 25% health)

Really a “good service” coming from DEVs again…

Anyway, despite these bugs, the combination is still good. I can finish PIT 90 with glyphs at level 85. If they fix the boss power bugs it can go even far up to 100. Pretty good for a Tier A build.

Now do it without boss powers. Let me know how it goes.
