Pit is a gread endgame system. I am having much fun in it.
But playing a non-meta build I am not able to farm 60+ pit
and so I can’t farm masterworking materials.
And there is only 1 reason for this: Shadow bosses
I don’t know how blizzard gets the idea for implementing shadow bosses that have mechanics from the most difficult fight in the game (Lilith) and apply them on normal pit bosses but… I don’t like it. And I think many people don’t like it.
(This is not guessed… I am reading the forums every day and I am by far not alone…)
I would like to ask Blizzard: Please remove this shadow bosses from the game.
They ruin the game experience.
I agree, but some 24/7 maniacs with 10000 hours on game, like that totaly insane streamer named Rob, they will laugh at your face.
I do pit 57 and that is that for me.
F…it,not fun.

I hate the shadow stuff myself. But removing that would just turn these bosses into nmd bosses again

If you think they would create unique bosses only be found in the pit with a unique moveset… I can assure you… nope they won’t because that would require actual effort and work. It takes them months to create one single boss lol.
Yes… and this is exactly the problem.
Blizzard is balancing content along the big streamers with their overpowered (sometimes broken) s+ tier builds.
The game is too easy when you can oneshot everything… so blizzard makes it harder.
But they don’t understand that 99,9% of the playerbase are not like Rob etc.

I find them fun. I play sorc an obly achieved pit lvl 77 so far, but without the shadows would be boring imho
If you really think they balance stuff around people like Rob … the game would be far harder everywhere while having leaderboards for everything. That logic here is fundamentaly flawed.
The pit isn’t supposed to be balanced for the current power we have. The way they created the pit is to learn how they can start to balance the classes.
Because they still have no idea since their new loot system is new and their playtesters are some hamsters in some basement.
You can push higher and everything is more difficult.
Maybe the shadows have not to go entirely… but adjust them to 1/3 damage.
Then there is a challenge, you have something to do while fighting the boss but it’s doable for non-meta builds, casual players and everyone else…
I mean… we talk about pit level 60 of 200. Everybody should be able to do this.
Not only with a broken s+ tier build.
My emotional response on being on shot shadowed is somehow romantic reminder of D2.
Amount of casuals heavily outweigh Rob or any streamer, even if they play a trillion hours. Balancing will be done after casuals.
I’d wager shadow or echo bosses will be removed eventually and tempering limitations removed.
