Severely Missed Opportunity

So hear me out… with the addition of rune words making it so any class can cast certain skills from other classes, it feels like a serious slap in the face when I go out of my way to level up a rogue in order to enchant and temper items for my other characters and I find that I am not allowed to use an item tempered by my rogue on my druid. I have runes on my druid to invoke dark shrouds from the rogue’s kit, and I wanted to use the “damage per dark shroud” tempering from my rogue to see how crazy that might be for my druid - alas, I was met with the prompt telling me that the item was no longer meant for my class. Huge waste of time, and severe disappointment - was this something that was just overlooked? This didn’t seem like something that would be a stretch, given that runes are a thing and I have access to dark shrouds - Blizzard plz

It was intentionally added to prevent exactly what you were trying to do. They’ve also introduced restrictions based on main stat.

Well, given that this season is almost entirely tailored toward the spiritborn (seeing as they can reach hundreds of trillions of damage consistently, whereas other classes top out in the tens of billions)((hundreds of millions in the case of the druid))… I would not have made those types of nerfs until next season. It would have been really cool to see other classes doing some cool gimmicks with the runes and using the tempers and enchants like we’ve been able to in the past. bad move by the dev team, imho
