There have been more and more posts about server related issues. Despite those not experiencing issues insisting that it must be ISP related, that is the truth, that more and more people have been experiencing and posting about it.
I continue testing my ISP, continue resetting my modem/router, continue monitoring.
Just today I hop on and immediate ping spikes and rubberbanding on first pit run.
So I reset everything, test, retest, retest, and retest again.
Speeds are solid, no fluctuation. No packet loss, no jitter.
Hop in game, go to run pit, ping spike and rubberbanding.
So I test my internet repeatedly WHILE in the middle of getting huge 600+ ping spikes in game.
No speed fluctuation, no packet loss, no jitter. Ping is still 600+ in game the whole time.

Same issues here. I don’t think they care anymore. They got their money from D4 sales and just letting the servers lag into oblivion. They suck terribly. The game is unplayable.
Does anyone at Blizzard care? Doesn’t seem like it. Why should I buy any more titles from them ever again if they cannot display a modicum of care?

I’m curious are you also NA East? I ask because I feel like a lot of the people who don’t have issues have said they were NA West.
USWest. It sucks. No latency monitor, nothing. It’s as if they left it out on purpose because they know their servers are sucky and are unwilling to spend money to keep them in tip-top shape. I don’t know where their data centers are, but there is plenty of bandwidth in the Irvine, CA area. They are lazy and negligent.

If you’re on PC you can hit Ctrl R twice to bring up a latency monitor. Not sure what you’d have to hit on Console.
NA East and don’t have this issue.
I’m in East Coast too. I had a tiny bit of rubberbanding last night for the first time this season. It was gone in less than a minute. But I was also just running pits and nothing else so perhaps the issues were happening for different instances.
Just to put it out there just because they don’t reply to threads doesn’t always mean they aren’t aware and aren’t working on it. They have steadily been putting out stability fixes but sometimes they are aren’t instantly verifiable and fixable.
maybe bliz should ask pappa microsoft to host d4 severs in azure vitural datacenters which have multi node reduncies world wide and it would bring everyones latency down to less than 10ms!
Now, normally my server issues don’t start this early. Usually later in the day when more people are up or getting home and getting on. However, today is the first day of the new Goblin Event and while it hasn’t actually started yet, I imagine a lot of people are logging on to see if it has.
Also remember a lot of kids are done with school which probably isn’t helping the server load.

More accurately just because you and others here on the forum are not having issues, does not mean more and more people are not experiencing them.
I have been watching the forums and I have seen a significant increase in the amount of posts, and replies, confirming many others are having issues.

I dunno what it is. I test my internet - 120+ Mbps with 5ms of latency. Tracert times out and I cannot get a ping response from USWest.
yea its basically Jemuzu and like 3-5 others. pretty much will be something going on on their side.

Maybe so. . The insignificant trolls are not helping.
With Microsoft involved in quantum computing and tech development, I would think that Diablo servers could improve vastly over time. After the technology has been used for military and warfare, ofc.
