I experience severe server game issues, the server kicks me out of the game, and loading screens sometimes freeze forever without loading

What server are you connecting to?

Not what I’m asking, there’s multiple servers. US-West, US-Central, EU-West, etc. when trying to figure out the problem it helps to know which server you’re connecting to, to see if other people are having the same issue with the same server.

I’m on US-Central… was doing some pit runs to level glyphs… oh boy, the slow down and lag was extreme to the point where everything froze for about 1-2secs… before it came back.

I’ll try again later.

Canadian servers never lag ever.

You are not alone, friend. Ever since Diablo 4 Season 10 came out on September 23rd, 2025 the game has become more unstable with more frequent connectivity issues, crashes and freezes happening in the game compared to all previous seasons, and that is NOT good.

Blizzard needs to perform a Hot Fix ASAP for these connectivity issues and problems with Diablo 4 and soon! I VERY rarely experience any connectivity issues in any game, and even in previous D4 seasons I did not experience such random, constant and unstable connectivity issues like I have been experiencing since this new Season 10 started. What gives!?

These bugs, issues and now random connectivity issues are unacceptable for a game we all PAID for and continue supporting! The connectivity issue is a critical issue, because as much as bugs and issues in the game are not good and super frustrating, connectivity issues in the game itself is a MAJOR issue, especially if D4 Players can barely play the game or enjoy it because of these random and constant disconnects from the game server! This needs to get fixed and resolved by Blizzard ASAP! There is no reason this should keep happening in the game and it gets worse every damn season!

Let’s hope the Blizzard D4 Team and Management get it together and fix these critical issues soon, and finally keep their promises to fix and improve Diablo 4 overall, as Blizzard has been promising for over 2 years now! Unreal! - JJ -

There are no Canadian servers. You’re connecting to US-West or Central. So Irvine, CA or Chicago, IL respectively.

For those having connectivity issues though it always helps to make known which server you are connecting to though. Otherwise they can’t pinpoint the problem.

A trace route would also help to figure out where the disconnects are coming from. Which can be kept running while the game is running. It wouldn’t affect your overall connection just to keep it going.

I am so glad its not just me. I haven’t been able to play for THREE DAYS NOW. I have NEVER had this many connectivity issues and I have been playing for years. I have put too much time and money into this franchise to be dealing with this.

GET. THIS, FIXED. ASAP. BLIZZARD.

Oh hey there, buddy!
Just so you know, we don’t have any actual game servers up here in the Great White North, eh. You’re connectin’ to ones down in the States, either US-West (probably somewhere sunny like Irvine, California :tangerine:), or US-Central (maybe Chicago, go Blackhawks, eh?).

If your internet’s bein’ a bit moosey, y’know, all slow and stubborn, it really helps to mention which server you’re connectin’ to. Otherwise the tech folks are just guessin’ in the dark, like lookin’ for Timbits in a snowstorm.

Now, if you really wanna help them sort things out, try runnin’ a traceroute while you’re playin’. It’ll track where the signal’s droppin’ off, kind of like followin’ a trail of poutine crumbs through the internet wilderness. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt your connection or anything. Just keep it runnin’ in the background like a good ol’ CBC radio show.

Anyway, hope that helps, eh! Stay warm out there, and give the router a nice “sorry” if you have to reset it.

And just how on earth does anything you are requesting from OP be of any help here, just what do expect the OP to follow up? maybe you should advise to check with the ISP before all else

I did have the same issue today/yesterday.

Got a paragon point looked at the boards to look at what direction i was gonna go and… kicked of server.
I wasn’t taking a long time, must have been a minute.

Not going to the technical forum to report it because it wasn’t that severe, but i did notice it.

The client does not make this information transparent nor selectable for Diablo4, like it does for Overwatch. So asking this to users is pointless. They can only tell you where they are.

Lmao youre a good sport.

Then don’t expect Blizzard to even know where to look. You have to meet them halfway on this. They have thousands of servers across the globe. Some one saying “fix your servers” with little to nothing to go off doesn’t help.

Now people could figure out which servers they are connecting to based on their own location not to mention a trace route would also help pinpoint exactly which one they were connecting to. If people need help figuring out the IP address they’re connecting to that’s an easy enough fix and explanation, at least for those on PC. For those on console I have no idea.

Keep in mind this is all things Blizzard would ask of you anyway if you submitted a ticket back in ye olden days. These days they just tell you to post on the forums, which does absolutely nothing unless it’s a huge issue and people are posting non-stop on the forums and other places.

It very well could be a specific server or set of servers having an issue, however it might only affect a select group of people a day. So today OP has a problem. The next day they won’t type of deals. Regardless they would still need more information.

How exactly? A traceroute requires a destination IP.
What you are asking people to do is something that requires information Blizzard no longer posts or shares.

Again easy to find. Task manager can help you find any IP you’re connecting to. Which you can then guide the trace route too. If people are having issues I can easily make a step by step guide.

It won’t be exact mind you, but at the very least people can say “I’m connected to US-West” for example if they aren’t sure based on their location.

Now I had connection issues a few weeks ago before the patch even hit. However I did extensive testing and found it was in fact a node near me that was acting up and causing problems, not blizzard servers. At which point I called up my ISP, gave them the data, and to their credit they got it fixed within that week.

I wasn’t the first one to call about the issue though, as other people noticed slow downs and disconnects.

I guess I was on the US east/Chicago server yesterday and was having some stuttering and rubberbanding. Nothing serious, though did get a disconnect after finishing a pit. Checked internet on my end and everything was good.

Are you talking about using Resource monitor? Sure you have to guess at which one is the game server. It shows you many ip’s. Netstat is probably a better option.
At that point you are better off using wireshark to narrow it down.

My point was there was a help page on the Blizzard site that walked people through how to run a traceroute to their regional server, AND THEY TOOK IT DOWN.
So

the inormation is not given intentionally now.

Until someone from helpdesk actually gives it to you, more likely they make you dl something that will run automatically.

And now let’s look at the Blizzard audience. You want to write a guide to hunting down an IP for people who make threads like “why I get one shot with 1K health”, go for it.

But you cannot expect them to hunt anything down when it has intentionally been removed. The avg user is not going to do it.
