Serpentine Aspect

Just wondering if there is a best place to put the Serpentine Aspect, ***RING, NECKLACE, WEAPON OR ARMOR? just wondering where people are using them.

I’d avoid using it on an amulet as the extra 50% bonus is largely wasted on Serpentine Aspect (I’d avoid putting it on a Staff for the same reason). Apart from that, it’s wherever you can spare a slot. Rings are the only place to put Resource Aspects so you may not have a Ring slot to spare depending on how many of those you’re using. User’s choice between gloves and one handed weapons though.

I always have mine on my gloves. That way im free to switch up to a staff or 1h+f whenever i want and not get in the way of my resource aspects on rings.

Its a waste on amulet or staff. Unless they drastically increased the duration of either the skill itself, the enchant or the aspect i would jever use it on those. Ive thought about it for staff to increase the enchantment of hydra but it just sucks.

Even the conjuration aspect sucks.

Hydra needs more dedicated aspects for a pure fire hydra build.

I need me a unique focus for triple firebolts and a aspect for hydra to make my old D3 hydra meteor firebird set sorc.

It would be interesting if hydra (and ice blades) was allowed to scale their attack speed with the character’s attack speed, much like the crusaders summoned warriors from d3.

:man_shrugging: im not a dev tho so

They do. Its just very minimal.

If you go from 0% to 100% speed you can see a difference.

Really? I had no idea; ive tested for this with esu’s passive + aspect, potions, ect never noticed a difference.

Is it known what the coefficient is?

I heard somewhere on the forums its like 50%. So max speed would be very minimal.
