I am not a fan of the Diablo 3 Glyph leveling system. Having a chance to fail leveling the glyph is NOT FUN!
Not only was the glyph level increased to a stupidly large number (more on squishing too much later) but now we have a chance of running an entire dungeon just to fail and leveling the glyph. The gambling aspect of this game is the loot, don’t shift it to the upgrades as well.
As for the rest of the experience, you squished to much. I just don’t understand compressing to level 60 but expanding glyphs to 100, and paragon to 300? All that was added is end game grind? No one wants to grind for stats, they want to grind for gear. So drop rates stay the same (gems, gold) but I can be level 60 doing it longer at max level. This feels horrible.
Gripes below
- level locked potions but I won’t have the gold by the time their unlocked.
- Same for the gems and now I have to grind for grand ones (Thanks?!)
- Made it easier to level but won’t increase drop rates of gear to keep up with the pace.
- Locked to 5 paragon boards, but we added 100 levels so you can spend 8 hrs to get 10 armor
- We increased glyph power but its random so… (Have fun losing?)
Look at all the fun stuff we can do while not getting boss mat’s!
