We’ve all gone through hundred if not thousand of threads where we see people complain, have rational arguments and offer some very interesting ideas, which should be taken into consideration by Blizzard and the Diablo 4 Dev team.
Many of you go through the rough spots to figure these things out and for that I tip my hat to all of you. But, 99% of the threads right now are offering poor stroke painting ideas to the bigger picture.
Hi, my name is Phil T. Rich and I work for one of the biggest marketing and investors company in Europe.
My solution to all of this to make sure we get the better product goes as follows:
- Increase battlepass costs and offer less cosmetics.
This will incentivize players to engage in content where cosmetic drops are below 1%. - Make Season 2 have an entry cost.
Just like a play center in town, make the season have a entry cost. I’d suggest 11,99$. - Introduce a Gem currency system where you can remove Malignant hearts from gear.
This way players can use their real money on these gems, which provide QoL. - Introduce Level 60 Boost with a finished build to progress into Endgame.
Make this have the same costs as a WoW 70 Boost, 49,99$ - Every major patch by the development team should have a download cost.
This doesn’t have to be something dramatic, so 2.99$ is solid. - Forum access should have a monthly-like subscription method to avoid trolls.
With a price placed, we avoid negative comments and trolls alike. Lets make this a positive place for all of us. - Make Nightmare Dungeon levels like 25, 50, 75 and 100 have costs through the gem system mentioned earlier.
- Offer a Buff bought through the store for Helltides where the drop rates increase by 25% and the buff stacking through each purchase, going up as far as 75% and decreasing the general drop rate by a rough 40%.
- Make the tree have a gem cost for each reward. Legendary reward having a 25% higher increase than the other rewards.
5$ worth of gems for common choice and 7.50$ for Legendary.
I believe with this set in place, we can get a faster development process.
Its without a doubt the way to go and I think the community without a doubt agrees with me.
