When selling your gear at any vendor, it will automatically switch back to the buy menu.
I’ve wasted a million gold accidentally because of this.

I’ve the same exact problem, it was also in issue in the beta.

My buddy has complained of this since beta’s he is on PS5 as well… me no probs on Series X.

Same thing here. Super frustrating losing all that time gathering gold. Seems to happen more often if there is another player using the same vendor.
I’m having the same issue (PS5). I thought I was going crazy. I only lost a couple mil to this bug, but I’ve had to change my behavior to work around it—i.e. only ever using the sell junk option—which is silly.
I’m having this issue as well (“PC” version, ROG Ally); it’s really annoying.
Still not fixed - ARGH! (PC with Xbox controller)
