Consort Radhan was by far the most annoying boss in the DLC. Had to respec to a great shield build and lots of stamina so I could shield poke him with the rot/bleed rapier. Managed to down him with no summons and was super fun with greatshield. My previous build suffered though.
They did design it that way. Each wing is saved. There are two bosses per wing though.
I just like it when mechanics are intuitive. Otherwise, it just takes time to get used to them. The most famous and memed boss in the game was Malenia. I tried to beat her 1v1, but the only reason sheās difficult is one bs move thatās not intuitive to dodge. I gave it 15 tries, then took the Mohg spear, the mimic tear, and L2 her into oblivion as I did to every other boss I struggled with. When fighting the dancing lion, I didnāt even know what was happening, I just spammed the flask button when my HP was low and L2 when it wasnāt. Of course, you can cheese through everything, but if you couldnāt, would you enjoy dying over and over before you figure out how to dodge the water dance? I played Nine Sols, an amazing game btw, and I think its boss design is much better. There are not 300 bosses ofc.
Immune phases where you have to do other things to cancel the immunity is typical of co op content. Thatās why you canāt solo it. Otherwise itās just a tank and spank pit boss.
Iām afraid most of the people that play this game are casuals lol.
Yeah I just saw the āguideā from DMā¦ and mhm Iām mixed on it. Mechanics arenāt particullary complex but itās definitely to long.
The only two instances for real failure with randoms is the boss where you time the portal to get the team mate back and the sigil phases from the other boss.
The rest seems to be pretty mild.

Yup, same as Asmongold, he trashed the boss and said he will stop play the DLC. Then came back week next week with stone shield, and said the game is great

I defeated Malenia the second time, because I was over level. Due to YT show me the trick to get runes in Mohg palace with jumped out of the map exploit. I was so obsessed with the runes farming and ruined my first experience with her by destroyed her with the blasphemous sword while over level.
I was new in the DS game which I was not aware that I am not supposed to be over level, not suppose to use summon and not suppose to use that blasphemous sword .
Since you donāt talk BMW, but the boss there is much harder. The way to defeat difficult include Shadow of Erdree is by record your game play use the Windows Game bar in your OS. All good developer will code an extra animation, sound or even background music to signal what is the coming attack for you to dodge. You just need to find the pattern by watch the video of your fight.
The worst boss move in ER is the burial dog in the base game. It has an attack animation which start slow and accelerate half way. The dodge window is at the second half, so understand boss attack pattern will not help you. BMW late game boss has many this annoying attacks. Shadow of Erdree boss is more fair.
Youāre supposed to have fun. Nobody cares if you beat Malenia at level 1 with a club or summoned the ālet me solo herā guy.

Haha Iām seeing a pattern here. If someone as casuabad as Asmongold can beat consort Radhan then no one can have an excuse

Malenia is a nightmare but not so much when the game first came out because people had access to prenerf mimic tear. That summon was a hack. I rolled mage with the scummy moonviel which stun locked her via the weapon art and then summoned mimic tear which spammed the same weapon art. Millenia couldnāt get a single move off in her first and second phase.
When I beat her using the mimic I had to take a shower because I felt so dirty for using such a cheap tactic.
This is whatās wrong with todays gamers, SEEN, not played or experiencedā¦
Also why streamers should not be put on the pedestal they are by companies.

I played ER late, my mimic was nerf. The bhaspamous blade was too OP as it keeps stagger her. Malenia is weak to stagger.
In the DLC they nerf the stagger part of blasphemous blade so this weapon is balanced and no longer casual players goto weapon

ā¦but streamers advertise and hype. Most of them put a positive spin on content, even when it sucks. Why would a company not love that? They donāt need to listen to players, they have our elected representatives to speak for usā¦ streamers.
