Agreed for the right type of game. I wouldnāt necessarily say itās good for a much faster paced game like Diablo. Especially if the first time you clear it, it can take upwards of an hour. Just my opinion though.
I shared that video yesterday in the forum. The immune phases are basically like Lilith but you arenāt bound on a small circle with spikes. The best takeaway from that video is if DM and Rhykker can do it, most casuals can do it. If not, then you probably shouldnāt play D4 at all.
Also good thing itās just cosmetics so you are not forced to farm it. Just think of it like Lilith. Do it once to get the cosmetics.
I think the most challenging part with Citadel is running with randoms who are clueless on what to do. No, Iām not speaking about day 1. Thatās obvious. Iām speaking of the obvious ā already playing a month and still clueless. I give a month because thatās often when most folks are done with the season (at least from what I have seen in the forum threads)
No one is forcing you to do the content, you can get scrolls elsewhere bud, keep that in mind. I will gladly group up with clueless random casuals and laugh when we both die due to impending doom.
Yea, Elden ring has some of the best designed bosses in video games but since they take longer than 90 seconds to complete⦠trash game, trash bosses.
Except Elden Ring is a Souls type game expected to have long boss fights.
D4 is an ARPG supposed to be fast paced.
Look at what happens in Pits currently. A lot of people get to the point where they can clear the pit but the boss fight takes so long they stop pushing. It becomes tedious. Same thing happens going from T7 to T8.
Saw your post above commenting on mechanics. Youāre the guy who thinks if someone doesnāt like something itās because they arenāt good at it. Or at least you use that approach to support your argument.
Iām calling it again. The only way this content will be āpopularā in an ARPG is if they gate a āmust haveā item behind it. That means the retemper scroll drop rate will suck everywhere else in the game.
Blizzard wonāt let an entire season run with failed content. They donāt like bad usage statistics on developed items.
Read the quote then reread my previous post. And stop being hung up on tempering scrolls. Blizzard announced you can also farm them in infernal hordes.
My trust in Blizzard is at an all time low given the current state of class balance.
If they want people to play DC, and they do, then itās going to take much more than some cosmetics to get people to invest raid time in a single activity in an ARPG.
Weāll see what the drop rate is in IH. My bet is that itās really, really low. Like the Mythic I never saw drop in IH low.
I havenāt no. I have played a lot of games that have long boss fights. At the end of them, Iām never hit with a feeling of accomplishment, just relief that theyāre over.
This is true for any video game Iāve played, from Borderlands to Mass Effect. Itās just dull, it gets into a cycle where you have to repeat the same motions over and over. Hard pass for me. YMMV
As for the new raid⦠holy crap, I just watched a video of it and it looks awful. Utterly unfun, stupid doors, stupid step-here spots, stupid timers, etc. I was shocked at how unfun it looks. I will never do this content.
