Hey guys.I’ve played the game since release and with the new expansion people are pointing out certain positives/negatives of the game and I thought it was a good time to discuss a problem the game has had since release.Diablo IV is trying to play into completionist MMO vibes and I can respect that.Everything you do and completed can be tracked as part of the map or as a challenge and thats good.Unfortunately a small yet imperative issue I was facing is the quest completion. The map is well organised and let’s you know every single thing there is to do and complete on the map and doing all of them gives you the good feeling of doing 100% of the area but many of the side quests are random drops that require drops from mobs to be accepted.Since almost everyone was not keeping track of their intial quests, you can easily lose track of what quests you have completed and which ones you haven’t and it makes it nearly impossible to do all quests in all areas and get that completionist feeling.I think either being able to track all types of quests or being able to see completed quests would finally let people get 100% on areas and feel like they completed all the areas properly.
It might help. Problem is that some quests are based on drops that happen either from certain monsters or gatherables so you can’t really track them until the drop happens.
That is a good point so the bare minimum would be to add a list of completed quest to know what you have accomplished and what you are missing.
For Nahantu, only 2 of the side quests involve random drops, with one being in a dungeon. All the rest are marked with exclamation points. I have already posted a Google spreadsheet listing all the side quests.
