What seasons allow is for the development team to implement massive changes and curveballs. Without seasons it would just be another World of Warcraft game where the game eventually breaks and they have to do level squishes and all kinds of crap like that. With Seasons, the developers have a ton of flexibility to do all kinds of things.

imho it’s not so fun w/o economy at all.
It could be fun for 10-15hours when you don’t need to grind like it was in D3.
But i think that they don’t want you to spend such amount of time cuz you won’t buy anything.
I’m a pretty hardcore ARPG player in Poe and D2R but honestly idk what fun will bring D4 seasons for now at least.

Which season was it when they disabled two Legendary Aspects for Barbarian, and later broke one of their primary skills?

I have 3 wives, 17 children, and 43 grandchildren: I am both too busy to play this game, and outraged that there is no endgame. With that established, you are wrong and seasons are bad.
I wont be doing this grind again. Ever. Because thats literally all it is, you dont ever see bigger numbers or get new gear past 75. It needs serious fixing.

The progression and loot better be god-tier before I do all this stuff again. Running NM dungeons again to upgrade Glpyhs is a no go, unless that Glyph xp comes back and can be applied to my current glyphs.
D4 is NOT ready for seasons IMO!

Thats fine and all however the issue is not really about seasons anymore. Most people are aware that seasons are a given with ARPGs.
The problem comes in with the battle pass, all they need to do is let people grind it out in the eternal realm and a lot of complaints will go away.
I don’t think anyone would be against grinding bp on eternal realm. However, this is difficult to implement if some seasonal mechanics are necessary for this.
I reckon D4 seaons are going to be pretty fun and I know most people are waiting for them to drop so we actually have leaderboards. The last seasons of D3 before D4 beta was by far the best D3 seasons for me. The season alter was a very nice feature and I hope they bring that back into D4.
