It’s Season 3 now and I find it hard to keep playing. I’ve completed each Season so far. The rewards just don’t really feel that fun compared to the effort that is requrired.
In Diablo 3 I could play for a few weeks casually and complete the Season. I’d get a cool Portrait, armor transmog or even maybe a pet, wings or back thingy. It has been fun for me to come back to for over 10 years (Season 30 was super fun).
In Diablo 4 Season 3 I get a title and a banner for completing the Season. Is it worth the effort and grind? I’m a completionist so maybe because the game is fun play but is it satisfying? I really enjoyed getting that new pet, wings, back and other items from previous titles.
The Lunar event with the wand (other weapons) and horse (the horse is fabulous) reward was fun. It respected time play (actually a little short) but the armor ended up being in the store?
Finding item upgrades at level 90+ is not fun. I know Diablo has never had and probably will never have a loot filter but it would be appreciated and in line with other ARPGs; I just transfer items to stash and use the text filter (it works but still a huge time sink).
You’re the person to answer this, not us.

This game is not worth anyone’s time, nevermind seasonal rewards.

it’s super fast, so yes, worth it.
I would agree, D3 it was much less grindy to get a lot more. Pet, gear set, etc. A title(s) and aspects are never going to be appealing. I use the season to lvl up a toon/class I’ve yet to try and add to more of my resources…eventually.

If you like useless cosmetics then all aboard otherwise, nah.

Looks like you answered your own question. Problem solved. Look you can get people to debate this back and forth until the end of time, bottom line is if you don’t like the current state of the game why bother playing it? Judging by your post the game just isn’t for you right now, maybe later when they add more content, QoL, and various changes it might be, but who knows.
I’d honestly suggest stepping away from the game, go play something you enjoy.
The seasonal rewards are mostly either cosmetic or have to be used within the season, although I think there are a few such as Aspects that might get transferred to the eternal realm at the end of the season.
But ultimately, games are supposed to be fun. Playing for rewards is a dangerous trap that turns the game into a job rather than something you do for fun.
- If you enjoy playing the season, you should play it.
- If you don’t enjoy playing the season, you should skip it and either play in the Eternal realm or wait for the next season.
You should never play a game that you don’t enjoy.
