It’s inconsistent awarding a world boss kill. I haven’t received credit at least twice.
I had the same issue, which I think was caused by leaving the arena too quickly after the world boss has died. Laterally, I’ve made sure to hang around for a minute, waiting until the relevant whisper reward pops up on the screen, and they’ve all counted towards the seasonal journey.
