So I’m hearing a lot of info on various articles that season 6 starts at the same time VOH releases. Which at time of writing this is about 15 hours and 50 minutes away. I go to the Diablo 4 website, click the seasons tab, get the drop down, choose Season of Hatred Rising and it has a clock of 33 hours and 50 minutes on it.
Can any Blues’ post the actual start time of Season 6? Cause there seems to be a discrepancies on the various info I have found.
The 2 countdown timers on this very website show the expansion’s launch and season’s start approximately 1 day apart.
Edit:Checking just now if you go to the Season of hatred rising section of this website it says the game launches in 15:45 hours and the season starts in 33:45 hours. So it appears they want to have us finish the campaign before starting seasonal characters.
Yeah found a new link on the Diablo 4 website that says " Season of Hatred Rising begins on October 7 at 4 p.m. PDT ." That is why I’m confused, the countdown timer says one thing and the learn more link has an article that says differently.
Voh and season start simultaneously in 15:45 hrs.
I hope you guys are right. I was planning on running both vanilla campaign and VoH campaign and was hoping to do it on the season and not eternal.

Someone must have screwed up one of the countdown timers.
There really should be a blue post clearing up the discrepancies. Several sources still say S6 is starting a day after VoH launch, and that Blizzard confirmed that – so people will have time to do the campaign first. Other things say “they’ll start at the same time on the 7th” as if it was said on a livestream the other day.
But why not post that so everyone can see?
The devs said numerous times that the season start and campaign launch at the same time.
The problem is there doesn’t seem to be an official source for this other than hearsay from a livestreams or who knows where.
Blizzard has now confirmed that Diablo 4 Season 6 will be released on October 8, just a day after the DLC releases.

Well it’s not just this website. It’s a lot of other posts and blogs. Which leads me to believe there is contradictory info coming from the company. So a blue post would be nice instead of having to track down a live stream and watch the whole think in hopes of seeing where they say that.

They almost never respond here. As I keep telling everyone, if you want answers the best place to look is twitter.
I agree, I don’t mind them using X and other social media, I just wish they would be as considerate with info on their own forums.
Might be addressing some massive bug and struggling to fix it before they clarify lol
