Season of the exploit 🤡

You know what I hate about this beta version of a video game? Earlier tonight, I did some PvP battling, mostly lost. But now that I know there aren’t just bugs, but full on exploits? Like, the person I was fighting “might have” carefully selected rares, over their time this season, looking for the best items, testing builds, etc. OR they exploited the game and copied over some of their Eternal realm gear to power boost their Rogue to insane levels. (Also they beat someone else +6 levels higher and my level x50 Necro -at the same time-.) Point being: I can’t know, is Rogue OP, were they really good at the game, or did they just use some sort of exploit??

Won’t be long until someone figures out how to transfer gold from D3>D4.

Love that one. Ran hundreds of sarats and uldurs so far. Love it!

Exploits are the spice of a game

Sadly cheaters/hackers/exploiters attract other cheaters/hackers/exploiters at an exponential rate so the only way Blizzard can handle the situation now is if the devs go on an animalistic rampage stamping out the cheats and banning the cheaters

Wait until people figure out infinite mana and start blasting through dungeons. :man_juggling:

Can you knock out season challenges with your eternal char? Like kill Uber Lilith

Because shakogate wasnt an exploit. Cant blame the community for playing the game. It was a screwup on blizz end that took 0 exploits to take advantage of. So i can understand shakogate

indeed it wasn’t, hence why i didn’t say ‘ban’ unlike the exploits below but simply “delete” the items found that way, like multiple online games usually do when unexpected items drop.
heck they could have deleted the shako while giving a world boss cache in compensation (not the same worth of course but still something) to the people that got their shako deleted.

Its a major problem considering theres infinite gold glich on eternal that can than be braught to seasonal.

i never said it’s not a major problem , i actually even said so in a previous post in another topic. (though less problematic than shakogate)

in this post i merely said that it’ll only affect this season (hopefully) contrary to willfire’s post stating that it’ll be permanently infested on the seasonal realms.

It would seem to me that it would save companies like Blizzard could avoid a lot of headaches to just have an in house beta test team over having free here is some bis gear type testing.

Well even tho it sounds noce you know blizz would never

Yeah, I guess. The problem is are they really saving any money like this? I mean to have to go back and fix so many things after the game goes live? Kinda like an author of a book fixing typos and misspelled words after the book gets published.

If I use this exploit to transfer over billions of gold from eternal to seasonal and then buy full BiS gear from the trade discord, what’s left to do in the game?

Go kill Uber lilith one time and beat a NM 100 once then what?

Yes they should fix the exploit but I’m not understanding why people are using it.

Wouldn’t getting billions of gold and buying BiS gear from discord just be a speed run to uninstalling the game because you beat it?

Why play game at all if you buy items?
I don’t understand…

There is no price for feeling i get when i loot godtier item lol! :joy:
I’m like; “YEA BABY”! Rush and feeling. Why would you pay you from that? :hushed:

Literally every exploit people are complaining here about require way too much effort to pull through to actually be worth doing.
And since this isn’t a competitive game, who cares. Just don’t do them.

They need to be fixed for sure. But the drama people are making about is is much more laughable.

Kind of sad that the most interesting part of Season of the Malignant is the horde of exploits being discovered and abused. :man_facepalming:

Once you get full BiS in this game, what do you do with it?

In other games, buying full BiS would let you go try a new raid or more challenging content that you weren’t able to do before. Or let you go beat people in pvp for rating/title/achievements.

In this game once I get BiS I go kill Uber Lilith and can clear a NM 100 a little bit faster than before I bought the BiS gear. Why would I want to do either of these again? They don’t have any rewards.
