What is the point of farming boss materials etc when 3rd party websites are selling them cheap. Indirectly this is a form of pay-to win. Moreover there is gold being sold on the cheap? You cant even control the assets in your own game! I know you guys are smart. Time to snap the reins on this. Just sayin.
Have you considered reporting these sites to Blizzard? If not, why not.
Have you considered just playing the game and not worrying about what other people are doing?
You could go online, find a build guide and then use RMT to buy mats. Or you could just do your own thing and enjoy the journey, maybe even join a clan of like minded people.
HAHA That is funny! Considering they have been advertising a streamer who is known for exploiting and using paid for mats all over the launcher yesterday I really don’t think they care.
I agree with both of these statements. It’s super easy to report then move on.
There’s no competition in this game, nothing to “win”.
Even when that method can get your account banned? So I’m paying to get my account banned, and that’s a win? I just don’t see it, I’m sorry.
- Who cares? Sounds like not your business
- Luckily you can save money by not buying it
- Seasons and rankings mean less and less with every installment, this isn’t D2
- You get so many mats that buying them is ridiculous
- Stop bringing this up before Blizzard takes trading away from the rest of us, you menace
Wait one minute here, did Gibs just say?
So, by that suggestion, its ok to Bot? D4 team is perfectly fine with it? Turn a blind eye to it all? along with selling gold and mats via a third parties be it in game or online? Not entirely sure what the point of that suggestion was but something tells me, mind ya biz kinda comments, isn’t exactly what the ol D4 team desires for us to do much less themselves.
It needs to be put out there! non stop no matter how its worded…as they say a guilty dog barks first and I smell a guilty dog.
We all have over and over…and over.
Because you find it enjoyable and actually like playing arpgs?
I guess the point is you either want to play the game or you don’t.
I wish you the best of luck. RMT is a thing in online games and I have never seen it solved.
Keep up the campaign maybe it will be different this time.
Yes its fine, you want to bot go ahead, you want to buy gear and mats go ahead
Then youll quit because the games done. I, in all honesty, do not care how people spend their money or time.
I want to play the game. I don’t want the development skewed or diverted by whining cheaters.
Someone cheating or buying items from a website has zero effect on you.
What I am saying is report the bot and then move on, don’t let it destroy your enjoyment of the game as there is no reason to.
This isn’t an Esport or competitive game. People using RMT or Bots shouldn’t impact you if you don’t let it.
I am playing a Flurry cold Rogue, which by all accounts is one of the worst builds if you read tier lists. Its a given this character will be weaker, slower and as a result have worse gear / however, its fun to me and I enjoy trying to make it work.
Luckily, I know 0% about bots in this game.
Because there is no economy.
If Joe Shmoe wants to spend 20 dollars for some materials he can get in 10-20 minutes, that affects me not at all.
People buy gold in this game?
There’s no AH to topple, so they are just wasting their money. For something to them, I’m sure. But I’m not seeing it.
Maybe don’t go to them and buy items off of them? This btw can never ever be fully stopped but it is punished by Blizzard in waves in the least.
i get the feeling that these rmt discussions only get brought up by 2 different kind of people lately.
category 1: people who try to create a drama out of thin air
category 2: kiddos that are suffering from an unhealthy amount of jealousy.
That being said, yes, rmt sucks, but really, its not your problem what other people do, or dont have. If you know someone who does rmt, feel free to report him using the blizzard support tickets. You wont fully get rid of rmt tho.
Whoever is paying real money for mats cant be serious right now anyway, i mean hell, materials drop like candy.
