Been playing a lot. None whatsoever.
If you’re here to complain fine but if you’re hoping to get some assistance your post certainly wasn’t
Well hopefully your able to find out why your issue is between:
So you dont crash anymore
Again with this narrative? It’s sad when the devs are admitting to data leaks but d4 defenders just can’t accept it. Kinda funny seeing devs prove y’all wrong though
Out of dozens i play with only 2 have/has problems with crashing.
Again devs have already admitted to data leaks causing tons of crashes, why are you arguing with them?
Yet majority are not crashing majority the game runs smooth. Its gotten smoother over time.
Besides what do you expect when OP hasnt given anything for anyone to tey and help figure out what his issur is
Yea not many crashes but out of the small % of people that actually visit the forums there is crash posts everywhere. So again why are you arguing against facts?
I’ve had quite a few as well. Almost every 3-4 town changes it would just hang. There was a temp fix with a hosts file that seems to have worked around the issue for me. I haven’t crashed in day. What sucks is that issue seems to have been around for a couple of years but only started happening to me this season.
There is a post in bug page about crashing which im to lazy to find. Blizz said “if the game was unstable from the servers or patch side there would be hundreds of posts”.
I dont see hundreds of people posts like every time the server goes down.
However AMD does have issues.
There was also a nvida driver update yesterday
They have admitted to data leaks already, what aren’t you understanding about that? You know what data leaks cause? Surprise surprise crashes.
Yes, and yet we dont see 100s of posts. I remeber one guy who ended up finding out his “superfast interest” at “50mbs” was his issue.
Most issues are on the persons side. Thats not to say during expansions, patch releases and interactions between items dont cause isses with the server. They get hot fixed within hours/days.
The issue is your telling people it’s on there side only when the devs of this game have already said that isn’t true … I don’t know how else to convey that to you lol
And yet there are ppl coming to the fourms with complaining. I always remember this one user. He complained so much about blizzards game crashing. He asked for help in S4 so I helped him. He had a 10 year old pc with the game on an HDD couldnt really do anything without crashing yet he blamed blizzard for him not meeting minimum system requirements.
Ive worked with the general public long enough to know often they either dont know what a PC is, that you need to update drivers ect…
I’ve had crashes also not non stop and they don’t persist thru the season for me usually. But they do happen and I keep everything on PC up to date and my specs can easily run d4 4 times over. My point was to say it is happening on there end also
Oh im not sayinging its perfect, as I said its know that people with AMD have problems. But most ppl that complain give little to not information one needs to assume its them.
Games got more stable as time has gone on. Its not wide spead or we would see 100s/1000s of posts like when the servers go down.
All im saying is at least provide your specs if your going to complain. Provide a checklist of the things you did to try and resolve it. Again working with the general public it does make you course and question the “trust me bro” statements.
Can you share where this is stated by Blizzard? I’m curious.
They did speak of memory leak about a year and a half ago. They havnt said anything since then.
When the game launched there was a horrible one. But they had addressed that one. I’m talking about recent info.
I have been testing and pushing this game trying to crash it. The only way I was able to do that, was to max out the graphic settings and then teleport from town to town over and over as fast as I could before it filled up the memory enough to cause it to nearly crash:
Video from the test session (timestamped):
There is posts that provide specs and people that give them solutions to make the game work and if you look through those solutions almost all of them is altering game files so they don’t pull as much memory.
