Season of Bugs? Why and how?

I mean, how can this even happen, that a mechanic, that worked and was not changed at all, aka the visibility of the arena waves numbers and the number of aether you gathered during the waves, can no longer be shown?

This is a mild example, there are more and especially more serious issues.

Black screen, crash to desktop (my first 2 since pre season 1 and one during season 3).

I do not even talk about, that every season, there is a item or a mechanic, which has to be temporarily disabled.

Wordings on boss powers do not match the effects, they should do. Beast power for example works not on the mild cc effects like chill, slow or daze only on freeze, stun and immobilize.
And yeah, chill, slow and daze were always considered as cc effects.

In this seaon, even the purchase of cosmetics do not work in every regard. Even if it is only a purchase per game earned token. But for people, who are to fast, they can miclick here and by these things per platinum, which is a kind of real money equivalent. Bcs purchase per platinum is big in the middle of the “get your cosmetic” screen.

Had several time outs during the favor token purchase.
This also happend for me last time season 1 as i bought this cute owl for my druid.

I mean how?
I don’t know, 3-4 (?) months or so a PTR testing.
How can this be happen in a billion dollar franchise.

Why do people assume big companies dont make mistakes? I just goes to show how uninformed many people are.

We do not know each other, but i really do not like to be identified by a stranger as a uniformed mind person.
Especially not as a studied historian, specialized in modern history, from germany that i am.

Also, i’m not assuming, that billion dolloar companies should do no mistakes. But the amount and the point, that so much of these mistakes are new on allready working aspects of the game is mindboggeling.

Your post reveals that this is what you are. Its ok, just learn and get better. Every company can and will make mistakes. Acting like this is a surprise shows you arent well informed.

For most people this is common sense however, around here, it isnt too common.

When a billion dollar company keeps serving you sheet and you keep eating it up and paying them it grows into a trillion dollar company that not only is still serving you sheet, but is also proud of it. Why do we keep eating sheet you might ask? Because that all there is on the arpg market currently - different flavours of scheisse.

You can’t even respect other peoples wishes in a gamning forum. You have to show, how superior your imagined argument is. I would say, in our “conversation” is your attitude the problem.

Please learn something about things like communication with others, fun, games, free time and all these topics, that are implimented as not outspoken backgrounds in a post on a gaming forum.

This doesn’t make any sense, lol. There is no reason to get mad because someone pointed out your uninformed comment. Just learn from it and do better next time. It usually helps if you think a bit before posting as well.

It’s not that they don’t make mistakes. It is that they don’t get fixed when they have an overabundance of resources to do so. With D4 they don’t get fixed until it affects the bottom line. We aren’t uninformed. More like fed up.

You must be new to the forums. This is the expected behavior. No consequences if one random internet person disrespects another random internet person. Trolls are spawned every minute.

I will pass along something to consider. The ignore feature works very well.

What does this mean exactly? They allocate resources to their priorities and nothing happens instantaneously. How do you know they have an “overabundance?” This post just proves my point about people that are uninformed about how these things work.

So where did I mention how those resources were allocated. I just said they have them. IF you believe they don’t possess an overabundance then so be it.

I also stated they do not get fixed. I did not mention a time frame or expectation.

You seem to be determined to inject what you think into the discussion when it doesn’t exist. Talk about uninformed.

How about the merc rapport progress screens that now either vanish, display the season two board instead, or have unclickable rewards regularly - until you reboot the game.

One of many new bugs this season. Sounds like sloppy code practices with unreasonable burden on testing to do all the catching stuff… which it invariably doesn’t then players (paying too much do battle passes) have to do the rest of the job for them when they’re supposed to be taking time out to relax and enjoy the game they paid for.

Time to clean this show up yet guys? You’ve got the cash rolling in now surely to pay for it .

What happened to the extra testing for really high “quality”?
