You have to kill 5 different Boss types that ONLY appears after these 2 helltide events:
- The cultist circle summoning 7 portals
- The giant tornado thing where you have to un-do 5 pillars
These events themselves are already random, in some event locations these 2 events can never spawn so you’re out of luck if you don’t use a worldmap site to locate other possible orange circles.
And then the boss at the end is also random, you may get the same boss types and never get say, your 5th type to complete the journey, when you’ve clearly got better things to do like farming the Blood Maiden.
This objective should have been defeat the 5 new hellspawns that mimicks the 5 classes after filling up the threat gauge.

This is a badly designed objective, there’s no way to know for certain if the helltide you’re in has a helltide commander event in it or even better, where is it on the map.
Funnily enough most of the objectives in the last tier, “Destroyer” are much easier to accomplish than this one.
What you can do is to go to an event ,no matter what is and complete it, wait for it to refresh and repeat. On helltides the helltide event is on the pool like second or third try.
And you only need to beat the bosses once, so you can take several days doing events at random, at least that how i did it.
Just time your helltide bar so the frenzy doesnt fill, as you need to fight that boss in a timed fight and deal with two bosses can let one escape.
Yes this is the most aggravating challenge. I have been trying to get this completed for far too long. It is hard enough running all over the place to get the right events to get all but the one boss I need. Zurden for me NEVER EVER shows up. I have seen all the other ones so many times it make me not want to play this stupid game any more. I have come to really hate this game. Which is sad as I have played all of them up to now. I just can’t believe it is so random that one boss would never show up. But like an idiot I keep trying and all I get is frustrated. I remember when I thought this game is fun. My rant will not be over until I get this stupid boss. And I’m not spending another dime on the game until it happens and maybe not then. So pissed at this…
You dont need to run all over the place, just find one event, reset it until the helltide event pops, after that is RNG. Do you recall which one you are missing, for me the last one came from the tornado helltide event, the portal one never spawn it.
I’m missing Zurden. I have all the others. I know because I have seen the other four more than a dozen times.
I finally got Zurden. After tons of tries what worked for me was I had to be in World Tier IV. In World Tier III I never saw Zurden. Then the first portal event he appeared and I was able to complete this task. I was getting a little OCD to finish this challenge. Now I can work on other challenges and go back and enjoy the game.

Did that one in 2 Helltides.
The PVP and Lilith challenges were much “worse” than this (for casual builds). Just because you were unlucky here and there its not “bad design”.
I could have done it in just a few Helltides if I had known Zurden only shows up in World Tier IV. Not saying bad design but was extremely frustrating for what seemed a simple challenge.
I was relaying what I found to help anyone else that might be having the same type of issue.
I just did other challenges to complete the tier. Maybe i’ll complete that one and maybe i won’t, but i don’t have to care. It didn’t stop me from completing the battle pass.
