This season 4 ends on august 6 it says in game, then what happens? do we have to wait till 8 october or is there going to be a new season before october?

Season 5 is on its way, this will be the last season before the expansion comes out.
Season 5 starts August 6 and ends October 8. Season 6 and VoH both start on October 8.
Dude we just tested S5 on PTR last week. Before the expac there will be season 5. Season 6 will start with the expansion in October 8.
