Do we have to unlock codex aspects in season again?
You will have to do the dungeons again, so yes.
Question – is “having to do the dungeons again” a bad thing? Isn’t Diablo all about doing dungeons?
I’m just curious cause I did almost all dungeons (16 left) and I would like to know if I have to repeat it in season?
that’s where you are very wrong. Diablo is about building your character and loot. Simple
Dungeon is just the means we have to go through, and now the splendid and joyous renown system. Because everyone wants that sweet baby 20paragon.
I would love to get my gears from open world and world bosses, but they don’t earn me any progression for renown. Fun game
I mean, I’ve played since the original Diablo (boomer) and I don’t think I’m very wrong. Dungeons are certainly a significant part of Diablo. I think they need to randomize them and make them interesting each season, and if they do that I’m totally fine with it.
Yes, you want gear… and if you are viewing dungeons as “something you have to go through” to get it… then I think you’re playing the wrong game.
Getting it from open world bosses is great too. That’s a new addition to Diablo. I think in the latest dev commentary they mentioned they have a focus on rewards for doing various activities.
Randomizer takes up too much manpower and resources, oh no no just throw in copy pasted layouts, maybe rotate that clock wise twice, yes perfect. Now throw in mob_type 02 and boss_02. Perfect.
How is that wrong lmao. I can be just as satified killing mobs in the open world while getting loots, I don’t need to clear 50 den of evils to achieve that. End of the day, dungeons are just mini instances to mix things up a little that’s all. And with how renown works, they are a part of the checklist nothing more nothing less
Dungeons are content. They have objectives and bosses at the end. If they don’t make them static each season I see no reason why they shouldn’t be a part of the game.
Viewing them as “mini instances” getting in the way of just running and killing things is just sad to me. But to each their own I guess.
I am just dissecting the elements and describing them as they are. ARPG focuses are on loots and character building. Dungeons? Those are 2nd thoughts and MMO features
