Season 8 Spiritborn class deplorable

Class is extremely fun and it is my favorite class since lunch. However, after fixing the bugs season 6, it was very weak state in season 7 behind all other classes. Nothing is wrong being the worst class but the difference between other classes is extremely huge, not even close. Now, season 8 is not any different. Very little viable builds to complete all the content in the game such as Torment IV bosses. Crushing Hands, Rake are not good build options. Only Quill Volley seems to be viable build as core skill. With tomorrows patch Spiritborn wil be climbing up the higher pit tiers not because of the class getting stronger but because of seasonal power. Obvisouly class requires tuning up.

Uniques items are many generic to almost all builds. During campfire discussions, blizzard team mentioned “we would like to have build defining uniques”. But I think this is not very true for Spiritborn except from “Sunbird’s Gorget”, “Writhing Moon”, and “Wound Drinker”. I think druid is a good example for uniques. Almost every unique can be used.

In terms of progression, Rod Of Kepeleke is behind at very endgame content. It is very hard to get this weapon already with a good unqiue roll aspect. Since this weapon is the fundemental of many builds, it makes it harder progress at in the midgame resulting struggle for many players. Please remove dependency of these many builds specific to this weapon.

Agreed, it’s unenjoyable how weak the base class is compared to other classes
