LOL… I actually am having fun leveling a Sorcerer though so I get the allure of it. Especially going on my own build and not some lazy MaxTroll guide approved S tier waste of brain cells.

looking like i will have to re-roll to necro so i can get loot for my sorc for another season. just watched mekuna one shot t4 uber bosses with a bw necro in crappy gear with only 9 hours played. it’s another season of poop wave i guess.

You’re doing that at nanosecond mark zero. The combat never gets engaging, regardless. It’s a farming simulator.

If a character is unbalanced – either too easy (like the laughable Quill Volley Spiritborn) or too hard – that’s not good. It’s not fun when someone with perfect gear gets one-shotted, while others with weak gear just run around carefree. That kind of imbalance ruins the experience for a lot of people.
My feedback is the same: I’d be happy if the characters were more balanced.

Doing similar build. Ty for telling me what to expect. One thing I like so far is that new avalanche + its aspect kinda solves the resource problem.
This point is mute showing a wall to rationalize with… It always absolutely gets better after XXX no fanboy required…
Your definition of better is clearly not going to match better as defined by many others.

Sounds like you’re playing at too high of a difficulty. There are 4 difficulty settings and I refuse to believe you couldn’t complete Normal mode.
If you want to do higher difficulties, you gotta work on your gear, including Aspects and Temperings and Runes, oh my

It’s amazing how you don’t know how to play the game. I’m level 54 Expert and destroying everything easily. I’m not following the meta. I have ice stilettos and hydras. Which are not excellent. The wizard is very strong, with any skill.

I’m having fun on my sorcerer. Hit 60 and got into torment 1 pretty easily last night. No uniques and some sub 700 gear.

im about level 47 atm and my cold sorc is fun, i’ve died a few times but its going well, maybe play around with your build

Watched 5 minutes of a streamer playing a sorc in T4.
They were discussing how he sold various items for billions of gold each and bought X Y and Z. Has hundreds of boss mats farming bosses on T4 just as fast as pre-changes on a sub-par class with traded optimized gear.
Game is just a trade-centric nightmare where Blizzard pretends it doesn’t matter and they don’t need to add a more accessible trade system in-game.
People who don’t trade are now just going to be left further behind because of the changes and the increased need for highly optimized gear. Maybe some of the developers sell D4 items on third party sites or something since this seasons changes likely helped sellers and demand for trade and RMT more than they did anything else.
This is the first season i’ve played sorc since S3.
I can definitely notice the power difference,but im on T2 and having “fun”.

This has nothing to do with the fing topic, but regardless i assure you we will be fine. We will be perfectly happy in our non-trading world.
Yes… Above all though seasons are a race, a ladder. The fun part is seeing how quickly you can finish that race relative to everyone else. How good of a gamer am I really? When balance is broken, the race becomes meaningless and we might as well play the eternal realm and only come back for xpac launches.
I do also want hard content I can test myself against… when the balance isnt right, there is no hard content.
For example, I did all the bosses yesterday and realised they have mechanics that I need to avoid, each boss lasted about 2-3 minutes. THAT WAS PERFECT. Seeing today that rogues/necro are 1 shotting t4 and pitt100+ and have already completed the season journey, just makes me think I wasted my time playing barb. Like driving a GoKart in an F1 race, or a school bus around the race track.

There’s no competition in D4. I couldn’t care less if someone else’s build is broken or just too easily stronger than mine. If that’s what I want, i can go play that build. Regardless, i’m doing what’s fun for me.
Sounds like you need to get your build from a streamer or this game isn’t for you in its present state.
