Should i wait until S8 starts to get my unique items or will my S7 unique items be the same as season 8 (excluding any new items of course)?

Nope. Nothing has changed.
Nope and the new unique weapon is for a dead build and is bad, along with the new aspect being also poo… because it creates more problems then it solves.
On a positive note, flesh eater has a huge QoL change, terror passive is slightly better on bosses and has QoL improvements. Vampiric Curse is now a curse, so can be used to activate curse related modifiers.
My favorite change is scent of death legendary node now offering 15% DR and 30%x to crit damage.
Basically you can get 27.5% DR + 30%x multi on this board, which imho makes it extremely good if not the best non mandatory board (build specific) if we value DR again. However for pit pushing, maybe it gets pushed out as people generally go glass cannon.
New aspect now back to D3 minions where you have to keep raising the dead. Its not worth the bonuses.
Aspect of Service and Sacrifice - Offensive Aspect
With this we can sac warriors and only use mages. Like we used to, before Aphotic was a thing and the shadow mage build got killed. I’m more in favour of useing all my minions, but atleast it’s an option.
The losing 25% health per second is what kills it. Its like they are making them explode like a RoM build but making us consistently revive them.
this forces you to use golem with a mage build and use occult aspect on your amulet or you wont get hellbent commander activated.
In addition you need to replace an aspect to use this one. So which aspect are you going to replace? because now you need to deduct the percent multi of the old aspect from this new one to see your actual damage multi gain.
You also now lose 3% attack speed and 3%x multi x 6-8 (depending on how many skeletons you used to use) from Kalan’s edict.
Finally you also lose some untangables like lucky hit proc’s for CDR from your warriors along with things like applying curses through blood moon breaches if thats your only way you curse.
Anyway, this is not a good aspect at all, unless you play it like a corpse explosion build and build around the warrior explosions… maybe… I only say this because I have not tested it, but because I have some mad build idea for it LOL
Oh useing this aspect is deffinetly going to be a worse setup than a standard minion build, but it can work.
Well the new minion power “the Beastmaster’s training” seems to be impossible to find. I have leveled only doing the new incursions and the occasional seasonal quest and have found all the blue/magic powers except for the one I need.
What an enjoyable fun experience its been /logging off.
No and that goes into two major problems with this game (in my opinion)
They have a lot to fix…
Problem is that they do not acctually fix anything, they just bandaid fix something that breaks the next day.
And when they are creating paches they are at the same time working on a “lower version” to develop the next season. So alot of fixes gets lost on the next season.
This whole game is a mess from bottom to top.
They need to go back to basics and establish rules on how they develop every part of the game from the smalest skill/passive/item to the bigger systems like paragon boards, and so on.
I made a lazy build using that aspect. Using the Ring of Sacrilegious Souls along with Cursed Aura aspect, things just melt. Granted it’s only T1, and probably doesn’t scale well at all, but it’s fun for mowing down the masses in helltide.
