No they shouldn’t. People should stop feeling entitled to complete something that wasn’t intended to be completed in a season. This isn’t the only game in existence. Go play something else til next season.

It’s a steep curve, not an impossible one.
it does feel a bit weird… especially for this season in particular which has been so incredibly painful. The optimist in me wants to believe they have some really cool surprise up their sleeve, the realist in me says “yeah, shaddap sunshine glasses that ain’t happening…”
I also think it’s a bit weird that people who demonstrate by their comments that they really have not even the first clue of what is involved in making games, somehow feel compelled to provide “Expert” commentary on the what and why of timelines and team sizes…
Ya 3.5 months is WAY too long for a season. Burn out starts about the 1.5 month mark. Maybe 2 months. 6 classes is just not enough to keep playing over and over again.
The duration of season 2 was more or less the same, also from October to January. There was true seasonal content and the mid-season patch brought AoZ.
Nothing this season. I believe Blizzard thought VoH would be enough to keep the community busy till S7.

Yes, more or less same duration as last year but this time 3.5 month with almost no seasonal content at all and a miserable mid-season patch that didn’t brought anything new and didn’t even solve problems that had been identified.
VoH is an expansion, not seasonal content. Not everyone purchased it.
it is simply becose of the christmas holidays and the days of that devs have, it is the same for us, thats why the season is so long. It should have end before christmas.

The problem is what they call an expansion is more like a character dlc to me 
They also need to desync it with D3 some more. They are started a few weeks apart now.

s6 is bad bcuz they intentionally broke their game with spiritborn to sell xpac while nerfing all other classes b4 release total sus move d4 team deserves all the heat
I think that by and large many people who comment that endgame is done with a few weeks of work either 1. Dont have anything to do except game 8 hours a day or 2. Don’t really know what the real endgame is because this season alone ive dumped 100 hours and am still barely pushing pit 150 with my second character.
Why would anyone want shorter seasons? Seasons of 3 or even 4 months are just OK. You have to level up again, then get up for the end content, do the End Game content, min-max your gear, and maybe do alts, so please no shorter seasons.

I never seen a character DLC that: had balance changes, added new skills to existing classes, new activity, new map, countiuend the srory, added new/reworked items and systems. The only ones I saw added the new character and some specific items to that chatacter. Might have missed out on some banger class DLCs I guess.

Seasons are generally, roughly 3 months long. I would say Oct to January fits the timeframe. What’s the issue… But if for some reason you think that doesn’t answer your question, here you go:
