Season 5. Sorc early game. Any gotchas?

I went with my usual Firewall build in S5. Got to WT3 after 3 hours at level 45. I feel Firewall and Burn is slightly stronger. But it’s hard to quantify. Nothing ground breaking yet so far.

One gotcha is that Sword of Verathel which I got early on. If you don’t have mana, you can’t even use your Basic skill. I thought it meant when you have the resource it will use that and add dmg. But if not, it goes back to a normal attack.

Isn’t that the advantage of having a weapon that does not use basic skills? You can now attack if you’re mana is depleted. A crappy attack, but something to do while barrier is up and mana is trickling back.
