I liked the season 5 ptr patch notes, we are moving forward slowly but surely. The game is still in BETA TEST AFTER 1 YEAR, but don’t feel sad we are almost there to have a COMPLETE, POLISHED AND FINISHED GAME, I estimate around season 20 close to the 2nd or 3rd expansion I will finally feel that what I payed for D4 1 year ago was worth it.

Its a live service game. It will continue to evolve/beta for likely the next 8 years.
If your looking for something static D3 just came out of beta as well as D2R. Perhaps those would fit you better until D5 comes out and D4 goes into maintenance mode.
main problem it’s not a beta test - who cares. Live service and etc.
Main problem for this game is that it is not a new game. It is reskinned version of 13yo game. And only now we have all it’s content.
yeah this stuff that you brought up makes things even worse to digest.
After season 4, now the game DOESN’T FEEL different and evolved from the previous Diablos. now it’s just a visual updated D3 which is pathetic too
