Season 1 started on a Thursday, now Season2 starts on a Tuesday at 10AM?
Can we please stick to the Friday at 5PM per region which worked for all of RoS?
This bouncing around is tough to schedule with clan members and friends and is not work friendly.
Perhaps we can take a poll to determine the most ideal time to launch a new season for each region or worldwide.

Why would they start Friday on the brink of weekend just for you?
it’s a company and they need to monitor the start and if something goes wrong they need to have personnel ready to fix it ASAP.

So basically your asking that after they have closed down for the entire weekend to release the biggest patch to date that could likely have bugs and issues ?
If bad weather is coming twords your area do they send all the emergency personel on vacation or put them on call to deal with any unforseen problems ?

Yes but nothing was accomplished from the S1 launch date.
Now we have even more inconsistency.
Friday at 5PM has always been the season start time, and the formula shouldn’t be all over the place like it currently is.
Shouldn’t have to lol, I prefer better planning.
Obviously not since there isn’t a valid reason.
S1 didn’t start at Friday 5PM (notice how this guy omits timezone out of ignorance) so it’s also obviously fake that seasons always started at that time.
So i ask again, you’d rather have the largest patch to date with the most chance of going pear shaped released on a friday night after the only ppl that could fix or save it all off work till monday morning ?
Leaving the entire community playing a possibly busted burning crashing glitching out patch so your schedule doesnt need to change ?

Friday is later then Tuesday therefor your math couldn’t be any more incorrect.
Giving the community more time like they’ve done prior to D4 is better then mid week.
Statistically, less people work on weekends so I am not picking up what you are trying to put down.

Your point is invalid since the Season starts at the same time for everybody in the world and not per region as D3, if you have the season starting at 5PM PST, this means that in Europe it would start at 2AM and China at 8AM. Not everyone lives in USA.

The dev team aka the ONLY people on the planet that can FIX any issues the largest patch to date work M-F.
Theres no debate about that, its a FACT !!
They DO NOT work weekends.
If they release { say it with me } the largest patch to date with the most things that could possibly go wrong AND need fixing on a TUESDAY at noon they have several full DAYS to get it fixed and working.
Weve already established that THEY dont work on weekends. So… if they release a patch friday night AFTER theyve all gone home for the WEEKEND whos gonna work on/fix the patch if it needs help ?
The only people on the planet have gone home 4 the weekend that have access TO fix it.
Are YOU going to fix it ? Is your clan going to fix it ?
Ive asked you repeatedly a few questions you either cant read or cant comprehend well enough to answer, why is that ?

This is NOT what I was talking about, but way to make a huge assumption there buddy.
5PM Friday for all regions in their local time.
Worldwide launches always suck for a few time zones, therefor the D3 resolution to this was to start 5PM Friday.
This is how season starts were for years, and I think it should be re-introduced vs. haphazard launch times.
Why? Just start playing on Friday. No one is hindering you to delay.

In that case, players wouldn’t be able to play with people from other regions, let’s say you are in US and you have also friends living in Europe, for them to always play with you they would have to be creating their characters in US Realm, which in D3 right now you have to start from scratch always while doing that. And let’s say those European friends are not always playing with you all the time, wouldn’t be fair to them to play with 150ms all the time when soloing or interacting with each other besides you.
D4 Season 1 started on a Thursday.
All previous D3 seasons, what I was referring to, started at Friday 5PM PST.
Now we are getting a Tuesday morning start.
Regardless of opinion or perspective, they are trying to find something that works, yet it is annoying as a clan leader to plan a season launch with inconsistent start times/dates.
I wish this were true, but not the case.
We had a PTR for S1 and the launch date was given to us a week prior.
S2 is no different, we were told just over a week prior making clan planning basically impossible, and requesting time off work, for those that are going to, within an unsafe amount of time for the employee/employer.
This isn’t about one person or one region, it is about finding a most ideal start time that works for each region like they used to.
