I would like to report this problem that I constantly have within the Game. Most of the time I use teleportation, or enter or leave a Dungeon, the screen stays black (like the Screenshot that i wanna try to upload), and it only resolves if I close the game and open it again. I had this error both through the Battle Net launcher itself, when playing through Game Pass, and through Steam, from which I purchased the game.

do you mind sharing your PC specs? also, is the game installed on hdd, or ssd?
While im not a tech expert myself, we have quite some smart people here when it comes to that. The more info, the better =)

Ryzen 5 3400G, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB, 16GB RAM, and the game is on ssd. I know that isnt the best specs, but i dont have a problem like this in other games. I’m trying to upload the screenshot at some place to get the link here

oh. now thats indeed pretty odd. it still shows your skillbar and stuff, just not the environment.
give it a bit, eventually some of the smarter tech people can help you.
Did you try to lower your graphic settings to the lowest? just to see if it still keeps happening you know?

Yep. I can open the Menu, and click everywhere. But nothing responds to the click. The only one that works is the exit the game. And that happen very often, so i need to reset the game every single time.
I tried everything, drivers are ok, windows ok, graphic settings are the lowest. Uninstall and install all over again. The Blizzard suport also dont know what to do, and i was adviced to search for a tech guy in my city to see if my pc are all good. But, as i said to them, all the other games dont show any problems like this.
And sorry if i was wrong in any sentence or phrases, english is not my first language.

Hate to ask the obvious question, but are your GPU drivers up-to-date? Looks like the most recent ones for your GPU are from October 2024: Adrenalin 24.9.1.
Im having this problem long before october. But yeah, that one was the last update

This happen to me yesterday, honestly been appearing since last season.
Happen once a while when you are teleporting.
havent really found a solution yet.
im rocking 5800X3D + 6800XT and yes, all driver upt odate win 11.

I have the exact same issue, happens every few teleports (multiple quit to desktops per hour…)
5800X3D, RX6600, Installed on SSD. Drivers are all up to date.
The screen stays black like the other screenshot but you can still see chat, map and skills etc.

The only “solution” I’ve found for this is to really crank up your VM/paging file.
This game uses a HUGE amount of VM and doesn’t handle things well when it runs low. The default page file is usually about 75% of your physical RAM. With this game you’ll want at least 150% of your physical RAM unless you’re running 32Gb or more.
You can also crank down your graphics settings to never use the hires textures. But that will affect how the game looks.
Lastly there’s a feature called “DirectStorage” in Windows 11 and unfortunately some drivers don’t handle it very well. You can disable the feature from the BNet launcher by adding “-disableds” to the command line.

But how or where i can change the VM?
I have the game on Steam, so i cannot disable the feature from BNet.
Search is your friend once you know that it’s called “page file size”. Search for “change page file size windows 11” (or windows 10) for step by step how to guides.
I tried this just now and I got the black screen of death twice. So it didn’t work for me.
Still happens about once every hour.
